TerraLoop: GPS Territory Game

TerraLoop turns your daily walk, ride, or drive into a real-world territory-control game. Close a loop out on the streets and the ground inside it becomes your team's land — encircle an enemy zone to capture it whole, or cut across one to carve away a slice. HOW IT WORKS • Start recording and move — TerraLoop tracks your GPS route live while you walk, bike, or drive. • Bring your route back within 100 ft of where you started to close the loop. • The server validates it's a real, physically possible closed shape of at least half an acre, then credits the enclosed area to your team. THREE WAYS TO PLAY Walk, bike, and drive each hold their own separate territory pool with its own area cap, so a loop on foot never competes with someone who drove it. Filter the map to see how each pool looks, and pick the mode that fits your day. TEAMS, ALLIANCES & LEADERSHIP Found a team or join one already claiming ground near you, and paint the map in one team color on a shared season ledger. Forge alliances with other teams — allied land is off-limits to each other's loops. Switching teams carries a real cost — you'll want to pick your side and commit. Prefer to go it alone? Fly solo under your own banner instead, with the exact same claim mechanics. SEASONS & LEADERBOARD Compete on a global leaderboard, or flip to Nearby to see who controls the streets around you right now. Season points persist independently of the live map, so a raid on your land doesn't erase what your team already earned. TERRITORY IS ALIVE Land nobody revisits starts shrinking after 10 days and disappears entirely if it's left too long. Holding ground takes upkeep — running your usual route back through your own land is all it takes to keep it safe. Big territories have to be besieged, loop after loop, before they fall. QUESTS, LEVELS & BADGES Daily and weekly quests reward getting out and playing — close loops, cover distance, claim ground, raid rivals — earning XP, levels, and a badge case of streak and milestone trophies. Team quests give your whole team something to chase together. EVENTS, LEAGUES & REPLAYS Jump into time-boxed team events — hold the most territory in a region before the clock runs out — or climb a regional league ladder, where teams are promoted and relegated between divisions every week. Every route you record is saved, too, so you can play back any past loop as an animated trail on the map, and share a replay with anyone via a private link. PLAY TOGETHER, OR FIND WILD LAND Chat on Team Radio, fire a Flare when your land is under siege, and take on neighbouring teams in 48-hour Turf Wars. Bring your run club in with one join link. On a quiet map, tame wild zones around parks and popular loops for XP, then replay your team's season on the Season Map. BRING YOUR WATCH Upload a GPX or TCX file from Garmin, Coros, Wahoo, Suunto or Apple Health. TerraLoop speaks English, Español, Português, Français and Deutsch. MAKE YOUR MARK Pick your team's fill color, pattern, and emblem — or upload a custom logo — so your territory is instantly recognizable on the map. Get notified when someone captures or raids your land, a teammate joins, or the leaderboard shifts. FAIR PLAY, BUILT IN Speed checks, teleport detection, and GPS-spoofing signals all run authoritatively on the server. Clean, verified routes earn a badge and boost your trust score.
