Cloudy Today

What did the sky look like today? CloudyToday is a gentle journaling app that lets you capture the sky in photos — and have AI tell you exactly what kind of cloud you're looking at. AI Cloud Identification & Collection Snap a photo and our AI classifies it among 26 real cloud species, from cumulus to cirrostratus. Every analysis earns you a badge, so filling out your cloud encyclopedia becomes its own little game. Spot a rare optical phenomenon like a lenticular cloud or a double rainbow, and you'll unlock a special badge too. Mood Journal & Tags Pair each photo with a short journal entry and mood tags, so you can always look back and remember exactly how that sky made you feel. Sky Details See how high the sun is right now, or what phase the moon is in tonight. Check sunrise/sunset times, a 3-day forecast, and today's special sky events — meteor showers, full moons, and more. Neighborhood Sky Map Share sky updates anonymously with people near you. Exact locations are never stored — only your general district or city — and you can tap "Sky is Pretty" to add to your neighborhood's daily sky index. Sky Reading Magazine Learn how to read the weather from clouds, tips for spotting rare formations, and regular cloud letters. Smart Notifications, Clear Days Only We check the weather at your location and only send a gentle nudge on days with a clear sky — never on rainy or overcast days. No Sign-Up, Your Data Stays On Your Device Start right away with no account required. Your photos and journal entries are stored locally on your device, with backup codes available for safe transfer. Build the small habit of looking up, one sky at a time, with CloudyToday.
