Belong Italy

Belong Italy is an independent app made by Belong Europe ApS, a private Danish company. It does not represent any government or public entity and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the Italian Republic, the Ministero dell'Interno, any prefettura or comune, the Polizia di Stato, the Università per Stranieri di Siena or any other certifying body. It is a tracker, not legal advice: always verify your case with the Ministero dell'Interno, your comune or a lawyer. Heading for the long-term EU residence permit or Italian citizenship? See your real distance on one ring, speak Italian out loud with Saga and practise for the CILS B1 with 1,062 questions. In English or Italian. SPEAK WITH SAGA Saga, a friendly seal pup, takes your call: an everyday conversation in Italian at A2, B1 or B2, then better sentences and new words, explained in English or Italian. Practice, not CILS preparation. Belong Italy Speak is an optional monthly add-on. STAGE ONE: THE LONG-TERM PERMIT The Path tab starts with the long-term EU residence permit, the step before citizenship. Add the day your permit ends and the Dashboard counts down to it, with a reminder in time YOUR ROUTE, CLEARLY Ten years as the general rule, four for EU citizens, three if you were born in Italy, two on Italian descent since Law 74/2025, five for refugees and stateless people, two after marriage. Every requirement explained: legal and continuous residence, Italian at B1, sufficient income and a clean record 1,062 PRACTICE QUESTIONS Italy has no citizenship test, it has a language exam. The app drills the half you can drill: the CILS B1 Cittadinanza reading and structures paper, in five chapters, with the sittings and registration deadlines. Written by Belong Italy, not by the Università per Stranieri di Siena AFTER YOU APPLY The Dashboard follows the wait against the 24 months the law gives the Ministero dell'Interno, 36 at most, with the ALI portal one tap away ALSO Trips checked before you book (over six months is a risk to your anagrafe registration), a second person on the same iPhone, five guides offline, your documents kept on this iPhone and news from The Local Italy Belong Italy Pro is an auto-renewable yearly subscription (€34.99/year) with a 7 day free trial. Belong Italy Speak is an optional auto-renewable monthly subscription with a 3 day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
