About Gym Coach: Adaptive AI Trainer

You know roughly what to do in a gym. What you don't know is what to do now — after two years away, with three days a week and a shoulder you don't quite trust. Gym Coach builds your program in two minutes, then does the thing no plan ever did: it watches what actually happens and adjusts. IT ADAPTS TO YOUR REAL LIFE Missed a week? The plan absorbs it and ramps you back — no red warnings, no broken streaks. Rack taken? Three ranked alternatives, instantly. Joined a real gym or bought a barbell? Tell the coach; your plan rebuilds around it. IT SHOWS ITS WORK Every exercise, weight, and change comes with the reason. Why this lift is in your plan. Why this week is lighter. Why your bench swapped after stalling twice. You're learning how coaching works, not obeying an app. PROGRESS YOU CAN SEE Every set builds the picture: strength trends per lift, your body-weight trend (the line, not the daily noise), PR moments, and an eight-week report that puts the scale and the barbell side by side — proof the plan worked. A LOGGER THAT RESPECTS THE GYM FLOOR Pre-filled targets. One tap logs a set. Rest timer starts itself. Warm-up ramps computed for you. Plate math done — it shows what to load on each side of the bar. AI YOU CAN TRUST A deterministic engine sets every number from your logged sets. The AI coach explains, converses, and proposes changes you approve — it cannot hallucinate your program. In 2026, that's a feature. FREE FOREVER: the full workout logger and a personalized program. COACH ($11.99/mo or $89.99/yr, 7-day free trial): the adaptive layer — progression targets that learn from every set, mid-workout swaps, weekly check-ins, the AI coach, and a new cycle every eight weeks. No diet tracking. No social feed. No shame mechanics. Just a coach in your pocket who noticed you skipped last week — and absorbed it. Getting back into it? That's exactly who this was built for. Your first workout is two minutes away. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

What’s new

Version 1.3 · Updated September 23, 2026

The app now opens by telling you what it is, before it asks you anything. Answer the five questions and you watch the routine get built - your training days, your split, your equipment, each one named as the reason it picked what it picked. The plan was always built this way. Now you see it happen. Your email has a home. The Health tab is now Profile, and backing up your training sits at the top of it instead of four taps behind a gear. One email, no password, and everything still works without one - but a new phone no longer means starting over. Something feel off? Tell the coach - it listens.
