Nem-S: Manga Storyboard

Nem-S is an app made for drawing manga storyboards, also known as "name" or thumbnails. It was built by a manga artist, based on the frustrations of real production work. No more opening and closing pages one at a time. See every page at once and draw right where you look. Fix the script, the dialogue and the page order on the same screen. - Every page on one screen Draw on any page while all of them stay in view. Switch between 1, 2, 4 and 8 columns to check the overall flow or the details. Focus mode hides the panels so you can draw full screen. - From a script with character names to dialogue Write lines as "Name: line" or with brackets, then place them as text layers without deleting the names, colons or brackets. The canvas shows only the dialogue. Names are hidden, and each character gets its own color in the layer panel. The script editor has two modes: a text editor for writing freely, and a block editor organized by page and panel. - Move things across pages Drag art and dialogue to another page. The dialogue moves to the new page too. Reordering, adding and deleting pages is just as easy. - Stock canvas Move a whole page to stock and try a different idea on the empty page. Bring the original back any time with "Insert before". Stash a selected panel, and you can swap panels together with their art and dialogue. - Export Export as PSD, PNG, JPG, PDF or TXT and keep drawing in the painting app you already use.
