About NaamAmrit: Mantra Counter

Keep every naam. Never lose your count. NaamAmrit is a beautiful, private mantra counter for daily naam jaap — whether you chant aloud, count on a mala, or sit in silence. Most apps just make you tap a screen 108 times. NaamAmrit lets you count the way you actually practice. WAYS TO COUNT • Say it — hands-free. Softly say or whisper your naam and the app recognizes each one for an exact count. Works with any earbuds or just the phone mic. • Chant — hands-free, screen off. Say your naam and it counts each by sound, so it keeps counting with the phone in your pocket, eyes closed and hands free. • Phone tilt — hold the phone loosely and tip it gently, once per naam; motion counts it, eyes closed. No watch needed. • Tap — a calm, tactile mala that fills with every naam, toward a full round of 108. • Invisible — a dark, eyes-closed tap mode for deep, distraction-free japa. • Guided Session — a gently paced sit to settle into a steady rhythm. PRACTICE THAT FOLLOWS YOU • Apple Watch — count from your wrist with a tap, the Digital Crown, a wrist-flick, or Double Tap (pinch, Series 9/Ultra 2 and newer); keeps counting on a walk with your arm down, syncs live with your phone, and a watch-face complication shows today's count and streak at a glance. • Siri & Shortcuts — "Log a mala," "Start jaap," or add NaamAmrit to your routines. • Home & Lock Screen widgets and a Live Activity — today's count, streak, and goal at a glance, with a tap-to-add button. A PRACTICE WORTH KEEPING • Works for ANY mantra — Om, Ram, Hare Krishna, Waheguru, Gayatri, your guru mantra, or anything you type. • Daily goals and streaks to build a steady habit. • Sankalp — set an intention and track your vow to completion. • Insights — trends, your best times, and a calendar of your jaap. • Weekly AI reflection — a short, warm note on your week's practice, in your language. Only aggregate weekly totals are sent — never your history — and nothing is stored. • Spiritual journey — watch your practice deepen through meaningful stages. NEVER LOSE YOUR JAAP Sign in with Apple or Google and your practice is safely backed up — delete and reinstall, or switch phones, and your streaks, goals, and history come right back. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your voice never leaves your device. Speech and sound counting run entirely on-device — no audio is ever recorded or uploaded. We don't sell your data or track you. Only your counts are saved to your account. Available in English, हिन्दी, ગુજરાતી, मराठी, संस्कृत, தமிழ், తెలుగు, ಕನ್ನಡ, and বাংলা. NAAMAMRIT PREMIUM Start with a 7-day free trial. Premium unlocks hands-free voice counting (Say it, Chant), Guided Sessions, Apple Watch counting, and Insights. The tap counter, Invisible mode, daily goal, sankalp, and streaks are always free. Monthly ($4.99) or Yearly ($39.99 — best value). Made with respect for the practice. Chant anywhere. What’s new

Version 1.1.0 · Updated August 13, 2026

Say it hears you better. The speech counting now asks your device for an Indian-English voice model, which recognises naam like Ram far more reliably than the one it used before. If your device doesn't have that model, the app quietly falls back to the old one — nothing to set up. Your practice log is safer. • A sitting is written to your log the moment you finish it, instead of waiting for the next backup • A sitting interrupted by the phone closing the app is now remembered and added to your log the next time you open NaamAmrit • Sittings recorded at the same moment as a restore can no longer overwrite one another • A sealed dīkṣā naam no longer blocks the rest of your practice from backing up • Recent jaap on Insights now shows the latest ten, with a door to the rest Better with VoiceOver. • The Keep going and Finish buttons at the end of a sitting are reachable again • The count is announced once per naam, not twice • Say it now says aloud whether the mic is opening, listening or paused And a fix for a mic that could keep listening after you pressed Stop.
