Chart Topper: Music Career

Chart Topper is a card game about building a music career from the bottom. You start out playing to four people on a Tuesday night. You write a song, release it, and wait to see if anyone cares. Most of them won't land, but the one that does moves you up to a better room, a bigger crowd, a higher spot on the chart. Keep going and you're headlining a stadium. WRITE IT YOURSELF Write a real song about anyone: your band, your cat, your group chat. Write the lyrics yourself or let the game do it, pick a voice and a genre, and share it anywhere. THREE TURNS IS NEVER ENOUGH Each Payday you get three turns, and there's always a fourth thing you wish you'd done. Write the song now, or spend the turn getting better and write something stronger next week? That choice is the whole game. YOUR CARDS ARE YOUR SOUND Everyone opens with the same ten cards. What you collect after that decides what kind of music you can make, so no two careers sound alike. Chase stadium pop or stay scrappy and indie.
