About More Mahjong: Riichi, Filipino

Real mahjong, not tile-matching: four at the table, six styles, each played by its own rules — and when you have mahjong, you can claim it. Play the Daily Hand: one deal a day, the same tiles for everyone. See where you landed, and beat your friends. Then open a table for your group and send your people the link. THE DAILY HAND • One deal a day, the same tiles for every player, one try. Today's Daily Hand is always free. • Every day has a number, so your result reads the same in any group chat: Daily Hand #18 · Filipino. • The leaderboard ranks your people and the house on the Daily Hand, and shows the number to beat before you start. • Dare a friend: send your Daily Hand, and they have 48 hours to beat it. • Your month: every day you've played, on your page at moremahjong.app/@yourname. • A home-screen widget shows the Daily Hand. YOUR PEOPLE, YOUR TABLE • Follow your friends and see each of them on the leaderboard. • Play online any time. The public table is always dealing — Mochi, Pepper and Biscuit hold the chairs until people sit down. • Open a table for your group and send the link, or plan a game night. SIX STYLES, SIX RULEBOOKS • American Mah Jongg — the Charleston, eight jokers, and a card of 72 hands • Filipino — 16 tiles, flowers and jai alai • Taiwanese — 16 tiles, tai scoring, the dealer rides the streak • Hong Kong — 13 tiles, faan scoring, three faan minimum to go out • Riichi — the Japanese game: declare, count your yaku, watch the dora • Traditional Chinese — the classical game, where every table's rules began Winning hands the app won't let you claim, melds broken by force, scoring that doesn't add up — not here. Every claim, every score and every settlement follows the style's own rules. The wall is a shuffle that knows nobody's hand. Nobody gets dealt a win, including the computer. Each style speaks its own language at the table — Pong 碰, Chi 吃, Zimo 自摸 — romanized first, native script beside it. THE MORE MAHJONG CARD: OURS, AND YOURS American Mah Jongg needs a card, so we wrote one: seventy-two hands, with the jokers, the Charleston, the joker exchange and the jokerless bonus working the way they should. Read the whole card at moremahjong.app/the-card, or print the PDF for your own table. It's free. LEARN BY PLAYING New to mahjong? Start with the basics. You learn by playing, not by reading. Every style has a short primer and a guided first hand. Then there's Ask Tiya. The auntie at your elbow, who tells you what to throw and, more usefully, why. She reads the real rules of the style you're in: yaku in Riichi, faan in Hong Kong, the card in American. She teaches when you play solo; online, you're on your own. FREE, AND ONE PURCHASE Free to download. The Daily Hand, learning, Ask Tiya and playing with friends are always free. Solo play is 5 free hands a day; the Full Set makes it unlimited. The Full Set is one purchase: unlimited solo play, every Daily Hand you missed, and the seal on your page — shared with your family. No ads. No subscription. The Daily Hand, solo play and the lessons need no sign-in. Online play, your tables and your page use Game Center. VoiceOver supported. More Mahjong is not affiliated with the National Mah Jongg League, and the More Mahjong Card is not the League's card.
