About Aeolian: Breath Field Manual
Aeolian is a field manual of the breath: a calm, offline guide to breathing techniques and the real evidence behind them. Breathing is a dial you can turn. Fast, sharp breaths tilt you toward alert; slow breathing and long exhales tilt you toward calm. Aeolian helps you steer, with a real-time pacer that shows you exactly when to breathe in, hold, and breathe out. FREE TO START Three techniques are yours free, with the full guided pacer: Physiological Sigh, Box Breathing, and Diaphragmatic Breathing. No account, no sign-in, no trial clock. ONE UNLOCK, THAT'S IT A single purchase of $9.99 opens the rest of the manual: every technique with the guided pacer, the full evidence library, and extra theme presets. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Buy it once and it is yours to keep. WHAT'S INSIDE - A real-time breathing pacer with gentle haptic cues at each phase - Techniques for winding down, finding balance, and gently energizing - Plain-language explainers grounded in published research, with honest strength ratings - Guided multi-day journeys and quick routines - Ten themes, from parchment daylight to deep midnight - 42 languages PRIVATE BY DESIGN Aeolian works fully offline. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no tracking. Everything stays on your device. WORKS WITH APPLE HEALTH Optionally log your completed sessions to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes, or read your recent heart rate and HRV to see how a session landed. All of it stays on your device. SAFETY FIRST Aeolian is a wellness and education tool, not medical software, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. It leads with clear safety guidance and per-technique cautions, and those are always free and never locked. The techniques here are for exploring how breathing can shift how you feel; they are not a treatment for any condition. If you have a health concern, talk with a qualified clinician. Breathe, remember.

Version 1.0.3 · Updated August 11, 2026
Your tree now grows. The tree on your home screen fills in as you practice. It starts young, thickens as the habit takes hold, and flowers when you reach a long streak. Step away for a few days and it rests, thinner and quieter, but never gone. All of it is worked out on your own device from your own history, and none of it leaves your phone. The tree also follows the calendar. Blossom in spring, full in summer, warm in autumn, spare in winter with the roots lit. Breathe on it, if you like. Turn on Breathe on the Tree in Settings, then breathe out at your phone and the leaves scatter. Speak to it and the wind-harp answers. The microphone is used only for this, only while the home screen is open, and nothing is recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. The big exhale. Blow at the phone and the app steps out of the way. Everything fades but the light, your breath lifts large eucalyptus leaves up the screen in the colors of the season, and a quiet count runs while you hold. Stop, and it all comes back. Nothing is recorded or scored. Share the tree you grew. The card you can share from a finished session now carries your own tree, at whatever stage you have reached, and it asks you at the milestones worth marking. An easier way in. Opening the app for the first time now offers one breath before anything else, and starts you on a shorter version of the manual with the full one always a tap away. The trunk is drawn true, the tree sits better in its frame, and there are one or two things hidden in here worth finding.
