About Shanti Journal: Video Diary

Shanti Journal is a free private diary app that lets you record your day in text, voice, or video — with every entry stored 100% locally on your device, never uploaded to any server. THREE WAYS TO RECORD – Text journal: write down what's on your mind, with an option to attach photos – Voice journal: record your voice and keep the sound of the moment, with photos, tags, and a short note – Video journal: capture a short video of what's really happening, with tags and a short note In a time when so much content is AI-generated, something you wrote, said, or filmed yourself is proof that you actually lived it. YOUR RECORDS, YOURS ALONE Every text, voice, and video entry stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server, and there's no sign-up or login required. You can also set a privacy password, so the app asks for verification every time it's opened — even if someone else picks up your phone, they can't see what's inside. THE VOID: SAY IT, THEN LET IT GO Some things you just need to say once, not keep forever. Send them into The Void and choose to auto-delete them after 7 or 30 days — or keep them permanently if you would rather not delete them at all. It is a private space to let out what is on your mind, then let time carry it away. GONE WITH THE WIND: LET GO ON PURPOSE When you're ready to say goodbye to an entry, send it away with Gone with the Wind — a small ceremonial animation that helps you consciously let go of that piece of the past. ENCRYPTED EXPORT & IMPORT Switching phones or want a backup? Export all your journal entries as an encrypted file, then import it on your new device to pick up right where you left off. Your data stays protected during the transfer — no cloud, no account needed. WHY SHANTI JOURNAL – Text, voice, and video — record in whichever way fits the moment – 100% local storage, nothing uploaded to the cloud – The Void with scheduled auto-delete for thoughts you want to let go – Privacy password to protect your entries – Encrypted export & import for backup or switching phones – Completely free, no in-app purchases Whether you keep a daily journal, write down what you're grateful for, or just need a quiet corner to vent stress and work through what's on your mind, Shanti Journal is a private diary and gratitude journal that helps you keep the real, unfiltered record of right now.
