PrivateLingo is a messenger for two people. Not a feed, not a crowd. One person, and everything you do together stays between you. CHAT, WITH YOUR OWN WORDS Message, send photos, videos, voice notes and files, react, reply, forward and star. Then do something no other app lets you do: build a language only the two of you speak. Words you invent together are remembered, swapped into your chats, and grow into a private dictionary with its own name and levels. CALLS THAT REALLY RING Voice and video calls that ring from the lock screen, even when the app is closed. Missed a call? Leave a voice message right there, no fumbling into the chat. OUR SPACE A wall that belongs to the two of you. Put up photos and moments, write what you each remember about them, and watch it play back as a short film. Seal something to be opened later. Nobody else will ever see it. GAMES YOU PLAY IN TURNS Lingo, a word game on a board, played at your own pace with a friend or with anyone who is open to play. Your secret words score triple. Keep records, build a rivalry, earn badges. Plus a table of quick duels for when you have a minute. FIND EACH OTHER YOUR WAY Sign in with Apple, Google or email. Find people by username, by the contacts already in your phone, or with a link. Nobody can message you until you accept, and there is nothing to browse. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No public profiles. No discovery feed. Your nicknames for people are yours alone. Your number is never shown, never texted, and only lets friends who already have it find you. You decide who can find you by email. Block or report anyone, any time. PrivateLingo is for the person you talk to most. Bring them.

PrivateLingo is a private messaging app for two people at a time. As you chat, words you use are quietly replaced with invented ones, shown with the English alongside, so the two of you build a language only you can read. There are voice and video calls that ring like a real phone call, a word game you can play against each other or against people from anywhere, and Ours, a wall only the two of you can see. This update is about playing with people you have not met yet, and about calls. TALK DURING A WORLD GAME When you play someone from anywhere, you can now talk back and forth during the game. Tap Say to send a quick line or an emoji, and reply to what they said with one tap. It is a short, friendly list of words rather than a chat box, so it stays kind between strangers. They get a notification when you say something, and what they said is waiting for you when you come back, even days later. When the game ends, Ask to connect opens a real private chat if you both want one. BETTER MATCHES Play anyone now matches you with people who are actually around, so your games get answered. A FACE FOR THE ROBOT The practice opponent now has a face and a name: Robot. VIDEO THAT STARTS STRAIGHT AWAY When someone answers your video call, you see each other straight away. Switching a voice call to video is quicker too, and the other person's phone now vibrates so they notice you asked. CALLS THAT STAY WITH YOU The call timer keeps the right time wherever you go in the app, and the call screen now says whether it is a voice or a video call. ALSO FIXED Password reset emails arrive reliably. Switching between the front and back camera during a call is steadier. If someone asks to connect and you miss it, you now get a gentle reminder, so nobody is left waiting. Thank you for using PrivateLingo.
