Autumn is here, and with it, the Halloween Event! (Until November 11th) WHAT'S NEW: - Halloween Quest Book (Until November 11th) with missions and rewards - New unlockable bookshelf decorations (Basic and EPIC) featuring the event's final reward - Display Shelves have arrived! Until now, you had a single shelf serving as a catalog. Now you can create multiple shelves where you have full control: manually arrange your books, display them in Spine or Fore-edge view, and customize their layout, color, lighting, and more. Includes a creation wizard (by list, genre, author, etc.) and batch editing - Book search grouped by work. Example: Searching for "Fourth Wing" previously returned 82 editions. Now they are all consolidated under a single result (work), and once selected, you can switch to another language or a special edition - New customization: LED Neon Strips. Add a fresh pop of color to your shelves. Customize color and intensity, and place them along the base or the top - New Bookshelf Finishes: Mist Blue, Lavender, and Burgundy - Spine and Fore-edge Customization: You can now scan your physical books' spines and edges to display on your shelf. Plus, if you have EPIC, you can use designs shared by the community - Create shelves from a book series. The Series Map menu now includes "Add to my shelf" and "Create new display" buttons - Soundtracks! Add playlists to your books (via link, QR, or Spotify code). Listen directly from the reading timer or the review menu. Compatible with Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, and YouTube Music. You can also discover community playlists shared by other users - New Halloween-themed sticker machine and collection - New Celebrations Menu: Change the celebration effect when finishing a book with Autumn (mushrooms, leaves, and pumpkins) and Halloween (ghosts, spooky pumpkins, and bats) themes - New Halloween title particle effects for Mistbook - New Halloween theme - Book Club Improvements: Images can now be attached in chats. Chat reliability has been improved to eliminate connection errors and duplicate messages. Polls have also been upgraded: edit your submitted book proposal and view details for nominated titles. For moderators, polls can now be closed before the deadline, can include more than 10 books, and allow filtering results once ended. Pacing milestones are now more customizable when pinning a book - Buddy Reads: You can now reply directly to specific messages and react with emojis. Inappropriate messages can also be deleted and reported - Customizable Ratings: Settings → Reviews now lets you choose your rating precision: whole stars (1), half stars (0.5), or quarter stars (0.25) - Current reads now display the estimated time remaining to finish the book/audiobook. You can hide this by pressing and holding on it → Options - Snail Mail: You can now reply directly to letters, though visiting the sender's profile is still recommended anyway :P - New Importer: Handy Library - Fixed the Account → Delete books from your account setting - Performance Improvements (still a work in progress). Menus are being analyzed one by one to optimize them to the fullest
