About Find a Corker
Corker is a wine expert on your side of the table — whether you're sitting at it now or booked in for Friday. Maybe you're at the restaurant: the list is three pages long, half the names are unfamiliar, and the waiter is hovering. Or maybe you've got a reservation this weekend and you'd rather walk in already knowing what you'll order. Either way, Corker reads that restaurant's actual wine list and tells you what to pair with your dish — clearly, honestly, and without the snobbery. Find the wine list, pick what you're eating, and Corker does what a good sommelier does: weighs the wine against your dish and against everything else on that list. Then it tells you plainly what works — including the times the modest bottle is the smarter match than the expensive one. No upsell. No jargon you have to pretend to understand. Do it at the table, or plan it all in advance from your sofa. WHAT YOU GET - Real pairings from the real list — recommendations come from the wines that restaurant actually pours, not a generic database. - Anywhere, anytime — at the table or planning ahead. Booked somewhere? Pull up the list before you go and line up your pairings in advance, no pressure with the waiter waiting. - Honest calls — Corker will happily tell you to skip the posh pour when a cheaper bottle is the better match for your plate. - Four quick highlights on any list — Hidden Gem, Drink Now, Best Value, and Top Pick, each with a one-line reason so you know why. - Surprise me — one confident, characterful pick when you want to be adventurous. - My Cellar — keep a private tasting journal: rate what you drank, jot notes, remember where you had it, and flag bottles you want to find for home. - Learns your taste, quietly — Corker remembers what you like to personalize your Top Pick, but it never puts you in a bubble. Discovery is the point, so the gems and value calls stay honest no matter what you usually drink. Whether you know your Nebbiolo from your Gamay or you just want to order well without the theater, Corker helps you drink better and spend smarter — at any table, from any list. Please drink responsibly. https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
What’s new
Version 1.1.3 · Updated September 20, 2026
Set your budget Tell Corker what you'd like to spend and it'll find the right bottle around that figure. It's a steer, not a limit: if something just over it is genuinely better with your food, Corker will say so and tell you what the extra buys. And when a cheaper bottle is the better match, it'll show you what you saved. Also: better price reading from scanned and photographed wine lists.
