AnnaChef: Recipes & Cooking

Take a photo of your fridge, or just tell Anna what you fancy. AnnaChef finds recipes you can cook with what you already have, and Anna will write you one when nothing fits. You don't need to go to the shop first. Recipes that use only what you have come to the top, and each one shows what, if anything, you'd still need to buy. HOW IT WORKS 1. Scan. Take one photo of your fridge or pantry, or type what's in it. AnnaChef picks out the ingredients, half-used ones too, and keeps the list as your fridge, dated, so you can come back to it tomorrow. 2. Pick. Home shows what you can cook tonight from that list, each dish with what it uses and what it still needs. 3. Cook. Cooking mode shows one step at a time in big type, with what that step needs and a named timer for every time it mentions. Timers keep running on the Lock Screen. ASK ANNA Tell Anna what you fancy or what needs using up, in your own words. "I have salmon to use up, something Japanese" is enough. She shows the recipes that fit best, with what you'd still need to buy, and writes one when nothing fits. When one thing matters, like how many you're feeding, she asks first, with answers you can tap. Hold an ingredient on any recipe to swap it or leave it out, and she rewrites the steps that use it. ANNA REMEMBERS Keep a swap and the recipe opens your way next time, with the original one tap away. Tap I made this and the recipe shows when you last made it. Add the people you cook for, like "Sam doesn't eat nuts", and pick who's eating before you ask. A short line on a recipe says why it's there. Everything Anna remembers is listed in one place, What Anna remembers, where you can delete any of it, or all of it. SEARCH AND SAVE Search our recipes first, then recipes from good cooking sites, each opening on its own site. Found a recipe on a website, TikTok, Instagram or YouTube? Share it to AnnaChef, or paste the link, and it lands in My Recipes as a private copy with its photo. WHAT ELSE IS INSIDE • Cook button: one tap from any tab to scan your fridge or type what you have. • Home: search with every filter in one place, today's pick, what you can cook tonight, collections and every recipe. • One reminder: at most one a day, at 17:00, about your fridge or a recipe you looked at. Turn it off in Account › Notifications. • Collections: group your recipes and share a collection with a link. • Drinks: from cocktails to hot chocolate, with glasses and a Start making button. • Your library: save what you cook, add your own recipes with step photos, import from a link, a photo or pasted text. • Pantry staples: oil, salt, flour and your usual spices are assumed. • Widget and Siri: "What can I cook?" and "Ask Chef" on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. • Guest mode: try scanning, browsing and a first answer from Anna before you make an account. FREE, PRIVATE, NO ADS AnnaChef is free. Scanning, recipe writing, chats with Anna and imports have a daily fair-use limit that resets every day. Browsing is always unlimited. There are no ads and no tracking across other apps. Photos are used only to find your ingredients. You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app at any time. A NOTE ON SAFETY Ingredient detection and Anna's answers can be wrong. Always check ingredients against your own allergies and dietary needs, and cook food to safe temperatures.
