Rotations Coach for Volleyball

One overlap. One point. Gone. Your setter drifts half a step. The whistle blows - out of rotation - and the other team scores a point you never saw coming. Rotations Coach for Volleyball catches illegal alignments before the ref does, so you can coach the game instead of guessing at the lines. Built for the sideline: native, fast, and fully offline. Plan your system, drag your players, and the overlap guard flags an illegal formation the instant it happens - then fixes it in one tap. THE OVERLAP GUARD • Real-time out-of-rotation detection across all six rotations and every phase, from serve-receive to defense and coverage. • Front/back and left/right adjacency checks with a plain-English reason for every fault - "MF (zone 3) must stay closer to the net than MB (zone 6) until the serve." • A clear Legal / Illegal shield, and one-tap snap-to-legal that drops every player onto a legal spot. BUILD ALL SIX ROTATIONS IN SECONDS • Assign your six starters to rotation 1. Auto-build rotates them through all six - legal by construction - then fine-tune each in the planner. • Drag to move. Tap two players to swap - the change follows them through every rotation. • Organize 5-1, 6-2, 4-2 and 6-6 schemes side by side on one roster. RUN THE MATCH LIVE • Rally scoring with automatic side-out and rotation tracking. • Substitutions checked against your ruleset (NFHS, USAV, NCAA, FIVB) - per-set caps and illegal subs blocked with the reason. The libero tracked correctly, never counted as a sub. • Serve order, timeouts, deciding-set court switch, multi-level undo. NEW: STATS THAT KNOW WHO IS ON COURT • Tag rallies with one tap as you score: kill, ace, block, dig, assist. Always skippable - the scoreboard never waits. • A box score for every match, with subs and the libero credited automatically. • Play-by-play of every rally, sub and rotation turn, plus a shareable match card with Player of the Match and stat leaders. • Season insights that name names: who passes best, and who keeps getting served at, in your weakest rotation. 320 DRILLS AND PRACTICE PLANS • A full animated drill library across serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, defense and transition - filter by skill, level, group size and time. • Every drill has a setup, a goal and coaching points. Build tomorrow's practice on tonight's bus ride, then run it in the gym with a tap. KNOW THE ROTATIONS COLD • A quiz built on real court situations: call it legal or illegal, learn why. The same engine that guards your matches grades your answers. • A guided walkthrough of all six rotations for every position - no roster needed. PRINT & SHARE • Clean US-Letter PDF sheets for the bench: serve-receive, attack and defense, with an ink-saver mode. • Hand a whole lineup to another coach with a QR code or link - no server, no account. • Share a player's card: a QR opens exactly where #12 stands in every rotation. No login required to view. NEVER LOSE A LINEUP • Local-first storage syncing privately across iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud. Your data stays yours. • Export and import everything as a JSON backup, anytime.
