About Savor - Food with Friends
Savor is a map-first food discovery app built around taste, not ratings. Discover restaurants through people whose taste you trust. Follow friends and tastemakers, see what they're loving, and get a taste-match score for every place instead of relying on anonymous star ratings. Explore your city through curated food maps, save places you want to try, build lists worth sharing, and keep track of the places you've actually visited. • Map-first food discovery, built around your city • Taste Match % instead of anonymous star ratings • Follow people whose taste you trust • See what your friends are eating and loving • Discover curated food maps and collections • Save places into lists you can share • Log visits with photos, vibes, and notes
What’s new
Version 1.4 · Updated October 15, 2026
Savor 1.4 • "Close circle" visits are now really visible only to people who follow you. • Restaurant pages can show what Savor users think: reactions, where people agree or split, and photos (rolling out). • Palate compare: places that suit both of you, ranked for the pair (rolling out). • Your palate name matches the website everywhere. • Tonight's pick: add friends who follow each other. • Onboarding now includes diet and palate steps. Please try: log a visit as Close circle and check a friend sees it but a stranger doesn't; open a restaurant page and a friend's palate compare.
