DAVE, Diagnostic Assistant

DAVE is the diagnostic assistant built for the people who fix commercial equipment — food service, refrigeration, ice machines, and HVAC/R. Point it at a problem and get real answers: troubleshooting steps, part numbers, error-code meanings, and repair guidance, right on the job. WHAT DAVE DOES • Ask Dave — Describe a symptom in plain English ("unit won't heat," "ice machine shows E02") and get step-by-step diagnostic help, likely causes, and the parts you'll need. • Dave Vision — Snap a photo of a part, a data plate, or an error code on a display and let Dave help identify what you're looking at. • Parts Lookup — Search thousands of real part numbers across dozens of major brands. Find the right gasket, relay, or board — with sizes and fitment — and jump straight to ordering. • HVAC/R Tools — Superheat/Subcooling calculator, Ohm's Law, refrigerant P/T chart, and error-code lookup, all in your pocket. • Field Tools — Level, measure, unit converter, calculator, timer, and flashlight for everyday work. • MyDave & History — Save parts and jobs to your own library and revisit every conversation, searchable anytime. BUILT FOR TECHNICIANS Whether you're a seasoned tech or new to the trade, DAVE helps you work faster and more confidently. It's a reference and assistant — always confirm critical repairs against manufacturer documentation and follow proper safety procedures.
