About Kinlend

Kinlend turns a loan between people who trust each other into a clear, written agreement and a simple payment plan you can both follow to payoff. Kinlend is a tool, not a lender. No money ever moves through Kinlend. The cash goes directly between you and the other person, exactly as it would without us. We just keep the record straight so you both see the same plan and the same progress. What you can do: - Write up a plain-language agreement and both sign it. - Build a payment schedule, or keep it interest-free, which is the default. - Track payments to payoff, with optional reminders. The fine print, up front: - Kinlend is not a bank or a lender and gives no legal or financial advice. - The all-in yearly rate (interest plus any fees) is capped at 36% APR. - A loan must be scheduled to run more than 60 days. - You and the other person choose the amount, rate, and length. Representative example: borrow $1,000 at 10% APR over 12 monthly payments of about $87.92, roughly $55 total interest, about $1,055 paid back in all. Subscriptions (optional): Contract ($0.99/month) and Manual tracking ($4.99/month). Each is a 1-month auto-renewing subscription. One plan covers all your loans. Cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Terms of Use: https://kinlend.app/app/#/terms Privacy Policy: https://kinlend.app/app/#/privacy

What’s new

Version 1.1.1 · Updated September 9, 2026

Getting paid back is the part that has to work, so that is what this release fixes. Venmo and Cash App now open the app itself, with the amount and the right person already filled in, instead of dropping you on a web page that does not know who you meant. Invitations hold on to where you were going. If you open an invitation and need an account first, confirming your email now brings you back to that loan instead of to an empty home screen. Fixed: Kinlend sometimes said the other person had not added a way to be paid when they already had. On loans the borrower set up, it could also let the wrong person decide where the money goes. Fixed: a payment handle you deleted could quietly come back. What you save now wins over anything typed on the original form. Fixed: entering more than an installment actually owes no longer marks it settled and drops the difference without telling you. Asking someone to add their Venmo or Cash App now tells you whether it actually sent.
