About Mishkat Alhuda — Quran
Mishkat Alhuda is a complete Islamic companion for reading, listening to, and memorizing the Holy Quran. THE MUSHAF • The full Madinah mushaf, page by page, in the original script with authentic page layout. • Optional Tajweed colors, night mode, and a distraction-free full-screen view. • Tap any ayah to listen, repeat it, read its tafsir, or copy it. • Download pages for offline reading — the whole mushaf or one juz at a time. LISTENING • 70+ reciters, self-hosted and streaming, including Mujawwad recitations. • Background and lock-screen playback, ayah repeat, and surah looping. • CarPlay support: browse surahs and pick your reciter while driving. MEMORIZATION (HIFZ) • A daily plan built around your available time, with today's portion always in front of you. • Review flashcards with spaced repetition: hide the text, recall it, then reveal and grade yourself. • Record your recitation and compare it with the reciter. • Ayat assigned to your daily prayers so you review what you memorized in salah. EVERY DAY • Adhkar and duas: morning, evening, sleep, travel and more, with a counter and daily progress. • Prayer times and qibla direction for your location, with a selectable calculation method and Hanafi Asr. • Reminders for adhkar, your Quran wird, and memorization review. • Search across the Quran, hadith collections, adhkar and articles — results open the exact source. • Hadith collections, Friday khutbahs, lessons, and an Islamic library. No ads, no tracking. Download and begin your journey with the Book of Allah.

What’s new
Version 1.1.2 · Updated September 11, 2026
A new reading view with the translation and tafsir under each verse, and a button to show or hide it. Choose your tafsir from the surah reader or the page mushaf, and your choice applies everywhere. Listen to adhkar recitations. Reciter names are listed alphabetically, and the list updates on its own when new reciters are added. Much faster reading: long surahs open far more quickly, the page no longer stays blank while loading, and tafsir loads only for what you are reading. Set the time of each prayer and adhkar reminder from Settings, test a reminder right away, and optionally have reminders speak the name of the prayer or dhikr. Fixed reminders that stopped arriving after an app update, and added a clear notice when notification permission has not been granted. Fixed the player hanging when a streaming reciter was selected, with a clear message when a recitation cannot be loaded. Bookmarks now work: save a verse or a mushaf page, and find them all on one screen that opens them again, with no sign-in needed. "Continue reading" returns to where you actually stopped, and reading in the page mushaf counts too. A bookmarks button in the Quran tab, and a save button in the verse tools. Multi-part adhkar are counted part by part (33, then 33, then 34), showing which part you are on. Adhkar that ask you to read a surah now link to it, and it opens over the adhkar page instead of taking you away from it. Arabic meanings for the 99 Names. Qibla moved to the front of the home shortcuts. A back button on the Listen screen, plus display and message fixes throughout.
