Spark Jobs: Jobs & Gigs

Spark Jobs is student work at every level: internships, co-op placements, summer and seasonal roles, part-time shifts and local gigs - plus the AI resume builder and direct messaging you need to actually land them. WORK AT EVERY LEVEL A first-year looking for weekend hours and an engineering student chasing a summer co-op are not searching for the same thing, so Spark does not show them the same deck. Tell Spark what you are after - internship, co-op, summer student, part-time or a one-off gig - and matching moves that kind of work up your feed and tells you why ("Matches your internship search"). Filter by level any time. Some placements, co-ops especially, are applied for through your school's own portal - Spark is where you find them, prepare for them and keep track of them. SWIPE TO FIND WORK Browse real openings near you with a simple swipe. Every card shows a live match score, and the job page explains WHY you match: skills overlap, distance, schedule fit, experience, education, pay fit and how fresh the posting is. Save the roles you like, skip the rest, apply when ready. AI RESUME BUILDER (ATS-FRIENDLY) Two levels, eight templates. Everyday builds the clean one-page resume a shift job wants. Professional builds the multi-page internship, co-op and research resume - with a matching cover letter and a references page. Start from scratch, answer three quick questions for an instant AI draft, or upload the resume you already have. Pick a template, set an accent colour, preview live and export a clean PDF. Spark AI flags weak bullets, missing sections and filler phrases the way applicant tracking systems do. AI suggestions are a starting point, always review before you apply. LOCAL GIGS Yard work, moving help, tutoring, pet care, snow shoveling - post a gig for your neighbourhood or claim one nearby. Spark checks the legal minimum working age for your region before you can claim, with stricter rules for higher-risk gig types, and both sides confirm a short legal check-off so everyone knows the ground rules. SPARK ASSISTANT An AI career coach that remembers your goals. Interview prep, resume feedback, co-op and internship application questions, pay expectations - ask anything about your job hunt and get answers grounded in your own profile and resume. DIRECT MESSAGING Chat with employers and gig posters right in the app - with reporting and blocking controls built in. FOR EMPLOYERS Post a role in minutes - part-time, seasonal, internship or co-op (Spark AI polishes your draft), see candidates ranked by real match factors, track views, saves and applicants, and message students directly. Employer Pro unlocks unlimited active posts and more. FOR SCHOOLS AND JOB BOARDS Institutions can partner with Spark to reach their own students directly (partnership arranged outside the app). SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS Everything you need to find work is free. Spark Pro is the edge: unlimited Everyday and Professional resumes, cover letters and references pages, unlimited Spark Assistant coaching, and your profile pushed further in front of employers. Monthly or yearly, cancel anytime, or take the Founders Pack once and keep Pro for life. Employers hire free by posting a role.
