Need a Player

Need a Player is the easiest way to keep your soccer games full. Whether you're a captain organizing a weekly pickup or a player hunting for games to join, it connects the right people to the right pitch at the right time — without the endless group-chat threads. FOR CAPTAINS Post a one-off game or a recurring weekly fixture in seconds. Set your skill level, age range, positions needed, and squad size. Invite your roster in one tap, let walk-ons apply, and watch the spots fill. Vice-captains can help you run the show. Recurring games roll forward to the next week automatically, so you set it up once. FOR PLAYERS Browse open games near you by distance, skill, position, and day of the week. Apply with one tap, accept or decline invites right from the card, and see everything you've committed to in one place. Tag yourself with your positions and jersey colors so the right captains find you. SYNC YOUR LEAGUE SCHEDULE Already in a league? Paste your league's calendar link once and your fixtures import automatically — opponents, kickoff times, and venues. When the league moves a game or cancels, your whole roster is notified. Pull up the full season schedule any time. CHAT BUILT IN Every team gets its own chat, so game-day coordination lives next to the games themselves — not scattered across three different apps. KEY FEATURES - Post pickup games or recurring weekly fixtures - One-tap invites, applications, and accept/decline - Automatic next-occurrence rollover for recurring games - League schedule import via calendar link, with change alerts - Tournament and league game types with a season schedule view - Team chat for every squad - Filter players by skill, position, age, and availability - Roster management: add, remove, and nudge players directly - Post-game ratings and a trust score that builds over time - Push notifications for invites, accepts, schedule changes, and reports — mute any category you want DESIGNED AROUND YOUR TIME We don't ping you with marketing. Notifications are only for things that affect your game: invites, accepted applications, last-minute openings, kickoff changes, post-game reports. You control exactly what reaches your phone. YOUR DATA, YOUR CONTROL We collect only what's needed to make the app work — your email, profile, and the games you're part of. A phone number is optional and only shared when you choose to make it visible. Location is used on your device to sort nearby games; it never leaves your phone or reaches our servers. Delete your account any time from inside the app. Never short a player.
