Before You Go: Lock & Stove

Did I lock the door? Did I turn off the stove? Before You Go gives you a calm, one-minute check at the door, and a record you can look at later. So the question doesn't follow you down the street. RUN THE CHECK AT THE DOOR • Stove off, iron unplugged, windows, door locked, keys • One tap per item, with a gentle haptic • When you finish, Before You Go saves a receipt: the time of the check, the time of every item, and anything you skipped • Interrupted? Continue the check where you left off "DID I?" ANSWERED AT A GLANCE The top of the app shows your last check in large type, like "Today 8:14 · All 8 checked", with thumbnails of any proof photos. PROOF PHOTOS Tap the camera next to an item to photograph the stove dials or the lock. The photo is attached to that check's receipt. • Kept only inside the app, on this iPhone • Never saved to your photo library, never in backups, never uploaded • Location and EXIF data removed • Deleted automatically after 1 day, 7 days (default), 30 days, or when you delete the check • Camera access is requested only the first time you tap the camera ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN • Lock Screen receipt: after a check, "Checked 8:14" stays on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island for a few hours.
