About Lumen: AI Language Tutor

Most language apps have you tapping. Lumen has you talking. Press start and you're in a real conversation with a tutor who listens, answers, and corrects you as you go — out loud, in real time, from your first lesson. WHY IT WORKS You can finish a thousand exercises and still freeze when someone asks you a question. The only cure is the thing most apps avoid: opening your mouth and being slightly wrong in front of someone. Lumen is built entirely around that moment — and it never runs out of patience. A LESSON • Tap start and talk. No typing, no scripts. • Your tutor speaks at your level, and switches to your language the moment you're lost. • Corrections arrive gently, mid-conversation, and are saved for you. • Every word you reach for and don't have is captured into your vocabulary. • You leave with one short piece of homework built from what actually happened. A COURSE, NOT A PILE OF LESSONS Tell Lumen why you're learning — work, family, travel, a move abroad — and it builds the course around that. Every class has a plan, a focus and a role-play. It gets harder as you do. YOUR REAL LEVEL Practise enough and the Level Test unlocks: a timed, adaptive, listen-and-speak assessment that can place you anywhere from A1 to C2. No typing, no multiple guess — what you can do on your own decides it. Then your tutor teaches to that. SEVEN LANGUAGES Learn English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian or Japanese — with the app itself in all seven, so you're never learning in a language you don't speak yet. ALSO INSIDE • Full transcripts of every conversation, with your corrections highlighted • Spaced review of everything you've got wrong • 25 badges — one for each CEFR level, one for each practice milestone up to 1,000 minutes • A streak that forgives one missed day • Text practice for when you can't speak out loud Lumen is a subscription with a free trial, so you can have a real conversation before you decide. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS • Lumen Premium — 6 months, $59.99 (works out at $9.99/month) • Lumen Premium — 1 month, $14.99 • 3 days free, then the plan you chose. Cancel any time in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before it renews. • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
