Vidling: Video Controls

Vidling helps parents make video time calmer, safer, and more intentional. A BETTER WAY TO MANAGE VIDEO TIME Open video platforms can quickly lead from one clip to another through recommendations, autoplay, short-form videos, comments, and other distractions. Vidling provides a contained viewing space built around approved channels and a quieter feed. CURATED CHANNELS, PARENT-MANAGED Instead of an endless recommendation engine, Vidling presents a focused selection of channels chosen for quality and learning value. Parents control what appears, while the viewing experience remains simple and predictable. WHY PARENTS USE VIDLING • Algorithm-free feed — curated channels instead of endless recommendations. • Contained player — no comments, short-form feeds, or unrestricted browsing. • Parent controls — manage profiles, hide or restore channels, and review activity reports. • Calm by design — fewer distractions, no autoplay loops, and no in-app ads. • Local setup — profiles, preferences, hidden channels, and reports are stored on the device. BUILT FOR INTENTIONAL VIDEO TIME Vidling is designed for parents who want video time to feel less random and more intentional. It helps households build viewing routines around trusted channels without endless scrolling or unexpected recommendations. PRIVACY-MINDED BY DESIGN Vidling does not display in-app ads, build advertising profiles, or require an account in this version. The app collects only what is necessary to operate, secure, and improve the experience. WHAT’S NEXT Parent accounts, improved profile management, and editable channel lists are planned for future updates. A calmer, more intentional way to watch.
