About JARVIS: Chores & Rewards
Teach your kids to handle money. You hold the reins. JARVIS is an app for families with primary school kids. You set up chores and tasks, your child completes them and collects virtual coins to spend on rewards you define. Every completion is approved by you, with one tap, even from bed. No real money, no credit card, no real purchases in the app. Coins are a safe practice ground where your child learns to save up and wait for something bigger before they get their first real money. HOW IT WORKS • Your child finishes a task and taps the card, like "I read for 20 minutes" • You get a notification and approve or decline with one tap • Your child watches the coins land in their piggy bank and saves toward their goal CHORES AND TASKS, TWO DIFFERENT THINGS Chores (make the bed, brush teeth, pack the backpack) simply get done, no coins for those. Coins are earned only for what your child does voluntarily, on top. They learn to tell everyday responsibility from a reward, just like in real life. WHAT'S INSIDE • Tasks with a value you set (reading, sport, helping at home) • Chores with a daily routine and one tap forgiveness • A reward shop based on your family deal (tablet time, a trip, pizza night) • Goals: your child saves up for something bigger and sees how much is left • A streak flame for days without a miss and bonuses for persistence • Perfect days, badges and a celebration for finishing the whole day • Home screen and lock screen widgets, from a small coin counter to a full day overview • Kids' widgets take on the chosen theme, the parent widget shows pending approvals • Quick actions: long press the app icon to jump straight to approvals, adding a chore or the shop • Two visual themes so your child can make the app their own • Multiple kids in one family, each with their own profile and piggy bank PRIVACY FIRST We cannot see your kids' data either. Sensitive content is encrypted with your family's key. No ads, no behavior tracking, no selling data. FREE JARVIS is a project by a parent, for parents. The core is free forever, no ads, no subscription. Web and parent guide: jarvis.kids
What’s new
Version 1.11.1 · Updated October 24, 2026
A guided tour for kids and a clearer kid app. • Tour: on first launch your child walks through the app with sample data, and nothing is saved. • Kid sign-in: your child enters a nickname and PIN, and Face ID is offered only when the phone can use it. • Home: the greeting tells your child how many of today's chores and tasks are done. • Accessibility: VoiceOver reads buttons exactly as they are written, and larger text from iPhone settings applies in the kid app too. • History: a reward with a bonus says in one sentence how many coins the flame added. • Small fixes and stability improvements.
