About Driven: Driving Hours Tracker
Driven turns your everyday driving into a story worth keeping. Every trip is logged automatically (or in one tap), mapped, and filed under the right car. Over weeks and years, Driven builds a private record: total distance, hours on the road, your most-driven car, top destinations, and how your driving has changed. WHY DRIVEN • Built for real driving — no mileage-report busywork, no reimbursement forms. Just your trips, your way. • Multi-car support — every trip tagged to the right vehicle, with its own history, fuel economy, and running costs. Personal cars and rentals tracked separately. • Fuel economy that learns — log fill-ups with odometer readings and Driven calculates your real consumption automatically, refining it with each fill-up. • Driving Passport — an all-time and yearly recap: distance, drive time, countries visited, top destinations, total spend. Share it with friends. • Privacy first — your trips stay on your device. INCLUDED • Manual trip recording — tap record, drive, tap stop • One car in your garage • Trip history, routes, and map • Personal and business trip classification • Fuel and expense tracking, with self-improving fuel economy • Import from MileIQ, previous apps, or any CSV or JSON backup — always free DRIVEN PRO • Auto-capture — Driven detects when you start driving and records automatically • Unlimited cars in your garage • Export mileage reports as CSV — for expense claims or tax records • Backup & restore your full logbook as JSON • Filtered export by purpose or date range • Insights and Driving Passport — yearly recaps, per-car breakdowns, and spending trends Whether it's the daily commute, a weekend drive, or a rental car abroad, Driven quietly keeps the record.
What’s new
Version 1.1.5 · Updated October 10, 2026
Driven 1.1.5 NEW • One garage for every vehicle — your motorcycle, van or truck now gets its own odometer, fuel log and service history, right next to your car. • Bikes, scooters, taxis and trains live there too — add one with the icon and the name you want, and log journeys to it. • Add a vehicle without leaving the trip you're logging. • Share a drive — send a journey to another Driven user with its route, stops and pauses intact. • Say what counts as your driving, journey by journey — you drove there and sat in the passenger seat coming back, and now your totals can tell the difference. • Every ride is recorded again — set off on a bike and Driven captures it, then asks which vehicle it was rather than guessing. IMPROVED • Smarter recording — a quick stop no longer splits a drive in two, and recording ends when you arrive, not minutes later. • Sharper distances and maps — journeys are measured from a cleaner route and start and end right where you did, and some of your older drives have been remeasured and redrawn to match. • Ferries and car trains are told apart from driving — the miles you were carried no longer count as miles you drove, or show on your map as a road. • Mileage reports that add up — real numbers in every column, a total at the bottom, and you choose whether to include the journeys you didn't drive yourself. • Introducing archive — vehicles are archived, your journeys keep their name and their icon, and you can bring one back any time. • Every vehicle looks like itself, and Driven reads well at any text size, with full VoiceOver labels throughout. • Put imported trips on the map with Apple Maps, and Driven keeps its own storage tidy so the app takes less room on your phone. Thanks for driving with us. See you on the next update.
