About NIX - Scoreboard

Your screen time just became a competition. NIX Scoreboard turns putting your phone down into a game you play with friends. Every minute of screen time is priced in tokens (NX). Lowest score wins. And when the day is going badly, Focus mode blocks every app on your phone and takes the score back down. Your friends see your score. Never your apps. A private goal is easy to drop; a number your best friend checks is not. You put the phone down for the same reason you show up to the gym when someone is waiting. FOCUS MODE Book 5 to 120 minutes. NIX blocks every app on your phone. Phone, Messages, FaceTime, Maps, and your Always Allowed list stay open. Every focused minute takes 1 NX off today's score. Finish the session and a bonus comes off too. End early and you keep the minutes, not the bonus. Your friends can see that you are focusing, and how long is left. PHONES DOWN Focus together at the table. One phone opens a lobby, everyone joins with a code, and you all share one end time. Pick up early and you earn nothing from that session. If everyone finishes, everyone gets a group bonus. HOW IT WORKS 1. Connect Screen Time. Your iPhone counts the minutes on your device. 2. Sort your apps into categories. Social and games cost more than productivity. 3. Add your friends and race for the lowest score. 4. Bad day? Start a focus session, or a Phones down with the people around you, and watch the score drop. WHAT'S ON THE BOARD - A daily scoreboard with your friends. Lowest score takes the day. - Head to head: tap a friend for the score between you and a line chart of your week, month or year. - Groups for roommates, a team, or a bet, each with its own board and reward. When a friend adds you to one, you get an invite and join only if you accept. - Medals for the top three, day wins, and streaks for staying on top. - Event races: one-shot competitions for a weekend, a trip, or a bet. PRIVACY, PLAINLY Your phone sends minutes per category. Not which apps, not what you did in them, not anything on your screen. Screen Time is read on your device and the raw numbers stay there. Focus mode blocks apps on your phone; it never reports what you opened. Connecting Screen Time also turns on Apple's adult website filter on your phone. It runs on your device, and we never see what you browse. It starts counting the day you install it. Free on iPhone. Put the phone down. Take the board.
