Life 24/7: Family & Safety

Life 24/7 helps your family manage location, safety and child device rules in one private family circle. See the latest shared location of family members on a map, create safe places for important locations, receive SOS alerts and manage screen time rules on a child device. Life 24/7 is designed for families, with clear permissions and safety-first controls. Key features: - Family circle: Keep parents, children and trusted family members connected. - Live location: View the latest shared location of family members on the map. - Safe places: Create home, school and other trusted places with arrival and departure alerts. - SOS: Send a fast emergency alert to your family circle with location. - Arrival checks: See whether a family member reaches a selected place on time. - Child device rules: Use Screen Time and Family Controls to create app locks and time rules. - Focus Mode: Temporarily shield selected apps or the app categories iOS allows for 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Life 24/7 and essential system apps remain available. - Download and removal protection: Limit new app installs and app removal on a child device. - Bubble mode: Share an approximate location for a limited time when precise location is not needed. - Timed live tracking: Request more frequent location updates for 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Update frequency depends on permission, network, battery and iOS conditions. - Detected trips: With explicit opt-in, review detected motion type, route and in-trip speed information. Detection of every trip is not guaranteed; no speed score or driving safety score is included. - Battery alerts: Get notified when a child device battery reaches a critical level. - Multilingual experience: Life 24/7 is available in 41 languages. Silver supports up to 6 child profiles, 15 safe places and 7 days of location history. Gold supports up to 6 child profiles, 50 safe places and 30 days of location history. Starting app locks and creating or enabling Screen Time rules requires an active Silver or Gold subscription. Stopping existing locks and disabling or deleting rules remain available after a subscription ends. Current and last-known location, SOS, direct check-ins and live tracking remain available on the Free plan. Notifications depend on the relevant permissions, device connectivity and the features included in your plan. Life 24/7 is not built for secret tracking. It is designed for family safety with clear consent. Location and device permissions are controlled by the user, and child device management uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks.
