About Niah: Private Period Tracker

Niah is a private period and ovulation tracker with no account. Your cycle data stays on your iPhone. Switching from another tracker? Import past periods from Apple Health or a CSV file, or tell Niah when your last period started, and see your next period predicted from day one. Log your period in a single tap, track symptoms and mood, and get clear, honest predictions for your next period and fertile window. Niah learns your rhythm and handles irregular cycles gracefully — showing a range instead of pretending every cycle is the same. WHY NIAH • Truly private — no account, no tracking, no servers of ours. Your cycle data stays on your device unless you explicitly use Apple Health or export/share a copy yourself. • Tracking works completely offline — no connection needed. • Lock Niah with a PIN in Settings › Privacy lock. An optional decoy PIN opens an empty Niah, and your real data stays hidden until you enter your real PIN. • New iPhone? Settings › Your data › Move to a new device creates an encrypted transfer file and a one-time code, and Niah checks that every logged day arrived. • Calm, beautiful design with a cycle ring, calendar, and insights. • Honest predictions, even for irregular cycles. • Backups are encrypted when you choose a passphrase — export and import your data anytime. TRACK WHAT MATTERS • Period start, end, and flow • Symptoms and mood — a rich, tap-to-log library • Cycle length, period length, and regularity trends • Trying to conceive? Log basal body temperature (BBT), ovulation tests, and cervical mucus • Gentle period reminders FERTILITY & INSIGHTS Fertility and ovulation predictions and cycle insights are built in. Niah also supports perimenopause and pregnancy tracking, syncs two-way with Apple Health, and brings your cycle to your wrist with an Apple Watch app and home-screen widgets. Niah is period tracking the way it should be: private, honest, and calm.

What’s new

Version 1.6.2 · Updated October 29, 2026

Fixes and polish: • Screens now fit your iPhone properly: no extra space above titles, and the tab bar sits at the bottom edge. • On iPhone, Settings › Your data › "Doctor summary (PDF)" creates a PDF you can share. (The 1.6.1 notes wrongly said it shares an HTML file.) • Today: the note about the symptoms you logged reads more clearly, and if your data can't load, Today says so and lets you try again. • Temperature, weight and bump measurements keep their decimals, typed with a comma or a point, in every language. • If a save fails during setup or in pregnancy or postpartum mode, what you entered stays on screen until it saves. • Confirmation messages show in full, and VoiceOver reads what will happen. VoiceOver also reads chart values and Insights pattern bars. Everything still works offline, with no account.
