Berea: Bible Study & Sermons

Berea is a calm, private Bible companion for reading Scripture, asking real questions, and following along with every sermon — built to keep your faith life on your device. Named for the Bereans of Acts 17:11, who listened to the preaching and then searched the Scriptures for themselves to see whether it was so. That's the whole idea: hear the sermon with your Bible open. THE WORD, BEAUTIFULLY READ • A distraction-free reader with real typesetting — paragraphs, poetry, psalm titles, and the words of Jesus in red • Translations included: World English Bible, King James Version, and Berean Standard Bible — with more available to download for offline reading • Choose your typeface, text size, line spacing, and a light, dark, or sepia page • Highlight in your own colors, add private notes, bookmark verses, and share beautiful verse cards • Browse the books in the traditional order or A–Z AN AI COMPANION, GROUNDED IN SCRIPTURE • Ask anything — from "what does this verse mean?" to "where does the Bible talk about anxiety?" • Every answer cites real verses, never invented ones • Search Scripture and every sermon you keep — free, offline, no account FOLLOW ALONG WITH THE SERMON • Berea listens as your pastor preaches and turns your Bible to each verse in real time • Get clean sermon notes — the big idea, key points, and questions to carry home • No recording is kept — speech becomes text as it is spoken, and no audio file is ever saved A DAILY RHYTHM • Start each morning with a verse and a gentle reminder • Reading plans and topics that lean toward what you want to grow in PRIVATE BY DESIGN Berea works offline, with no account required and no tracking. No sermon audio is ever saved as a file, on your phone or anywhere else — speech becomes text as it is spoken. By default that happens entirely on your iPhone and nothing leaves it. The optional cloud features are clearly marked and stay off until you switch them on; Enhanced accuracy is the one that streams audio out to transcribe it, and it returns text without keeping the audio. SYNC ACROSS YOUR DEVICES — FREE Sign in with Apple to keep your highlights, notes, and sermons in step across your devices. It's optional, and it's free. PREMIUM An optional upgrade unlocks Deeper Answers in chat, Better sermon notes, and Enhanced accuracy for sermon transcription — available as a subscription or a one-time purchase.
