Legacy Marker

Legacy Marker helps communities find, preserve, and share roadside memorial locations, photos, and stories with care. When a life is lost along a road, a small memorial often marks the spot, but those memorials and the stories behind them can fade or disappear over time. Legacy Marker lets people record those locations on a map, add a photo and the name and dates of the person being remembered, and share the story behind the memorial so it isn't forgotten. FEATURES - Browse a map of nearby roadside memorials - Search memorials by name or story - Add a memorial with a photo, location, and story for community review - Every public submission is reviewed before it appears, to keep the archive respectful and accurate - Manage the memorials you've submitted from My Memorials - Report a concern about any memorial directly from its detail page Legacy Marker is built to be a respectful, lasting public record - a way for communities to remember lives lost and the place where they're remembered.
