About Dots: Bullet Journal & Habits

Open Dots and you land on a calm, paper-inspired daily page. Tap once and start typing — a bullet journal that teaches itself through use, not a manual. Fast enough to beat a pen, faithful enough for a five-year notebook devotee. No account. No ads. Free to start — it lives on your device and stays yours. **THE BULLET SYSTEM, BUILT IN** Capture your day the classic bullet journal way — tasks (•), notes (–), events (○), and a priority marker (*) for what matters most. Tap a task to complete it with a satisfying strike-through. Type a leading dash, star, or "o" and Dots converts it to the right bullet as you go, or pick a signifier from the bar above the keyboard. **CAPTURE IN SECONDS** A persistent entry bar sits above the keyboard so logging is always one tap and a few words away — no modals, no required fields. Add subtasks one level deep, and swipe any entry to change its signifier or clear it. **NOTHING SLIPS THROUGH** Unfinished tasks carry forward to today so your list stays honest — turn auto carry-forward on and each new day starts current. Look further out with the future log. **BUILD BETTER HABITS** Track the habits you're building, watch your streaks grow, and see months at a glance in a 13-week completion grid. Set a reminder for each habit so the right nudge arrives at the right time. **TRACK HOW YOU FEEL** Log your mood in a tap on a five-point scale, add a note when you want to, and look back over trend and scatter charts to see the patterns in how you've been. **WRITE FREELY IN A JOURNAL** Step outside the bullet log into a full page for the day — a private, free-form journal with optional prompts and a calendar view of your writing streak. It autosaves as you type, no bullets required. **ORGANIZE WITH COLLECTIONS** Keep everything that isn't day-to-day — reading lists, projects, ideas — in collections you create. Archive the ones you're done with to keep things tidy. **PLAN YOUR WEEK AND MONTH** Zoom out to the weekly and monthly logs to see the shape of what's ahead, then drop back into today. The planner keeps the long view and the daily view in step. **THE APP LEARNS AS YOU GO** Dots reveals itself as you're ready — a single daily page on day one, then the weekly log, collections, and monthly/future logs surface over your first weeks, so you grow into a full practice instead of drowning in features on day one. **SEARCH YOUR WHOLE JOURNAL** Find any task, note, or event across your entire history with full-text search and highlighted matches. Everything you've written stays a search away. **PRIVATE BY DESIGN** Your entries are stored on your device — no account, no tracking, no ads. Lock the app behind Face ID or your passcode. Turn on iCloud sync (a Pro feature) to move your journal between your devices through your own private iCloud — never a server we can read. **MADE FOR EVERY JOURNALER** Light, dark, and system themes, elegant serif typography, and settings for date format, week-start day, and reminder times. iPhone only. Free forever: keep up to 3 collections and 5 habits with full daily, weekly, and monthly logs, mood tracking, journaling, search, reminders, and app lock. **Dots Pro** unlocks unlimited collections and habits, iCloud sync across your devices, and habit and mood charts — available monthly, annually, or as a one-time purchase. Start today. Open to a blank page and write your first line. EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
