Under The Hood

Under The Hood uses advanced AI to read your car's problems in seconds: on paper, on the dashboard, or on the part itself. Point your camera at a service invoice, dealer estimate, or handwritten work order and get an instant plain-English breakdown of every line item: what the work involves, whether it needs to happen now, and how the labor rate compares to your area. No automotive knowledge required. Built to use in under 60 seconds. SCAN A SERVICE DOCUMENT Plain-English explanation of every line item. Urgency classification and "can wait" flag per item so you know what actually needs attention now. Labor rate benchmark by region so you understand where each line stands. Real parts pricing pulled from live marketplace listings. Confidence score per line item reflecting image clarity, repair commonality, and data availability. Negotiation guidance with specific language to use at the counter. Overall assessment of the full invoice. Share a clean one-page PDF summary with a spouse, a friend, or a second shop. SCAN YOUR DASHBOARD Photograph your instrument cluster and find out what that light actually means: the likely causes, cheapest first, whether it's safe to keep driving, and the single next step to take. A flashing check engine light and a steady one mean very different things, and the app tells you which you're looking at. CHECK YOUR TIRES Photograph the tread and get an estimated tread depth plus what the wear pattern is telling you: center wear from overinflation, edge wear from underinflation, one-sided wear from alignment. Know where you stand before someone tells you that you need four new tires. CHECK A WORN PART Photograph a belt, hose, brake pad, or battery terminal and find out whether it genuinely needs replacing now or has life left in it. DIAGNOSE MODE Not sure what that noise or warning means? Enter an OBD-II code or describe what you're noticing. Under The Hood explains the likely cause, urgency level, estimated service range, and whether it's safe to keep driving before you ever walk into a shop. BUILT FOR REAL SITUATIONS Works on typed invoices, handwritten estimates, dealer service orders, and multi-page documents. Handles blurry or partial images. Warns you before a large upload on cellular data. No account required. Your data is never sold. Terms of Use (EULA): https://drewspagna1.github.io/Under_The_Hood_Support/terms.html
