Flatscan also scans paper documents, extracts text with on-device OCR and keeps sensitive files in locally encrypted protected folders. No account is required. WHY FLATSCAN MAKE A PDF FROM PHOTOS AND IMAGES Import photos or JPG, JPEG and PNG files, arrange the pages, crop what you need and export a single PDF. You can also add paper scans or import PDF pages. Each import supports up to 50 pages. FIND DOCUMENTS BY THEIR TEXT On-device OCR makes saved documents searchable, so you can quickly find receipts, invoices, contracts, forms, passports, notes, and other important files. PROTECT SENSITIVE DOCUMENTS Move IDs, contracts, financial records, and other private files into protected folders. The separate space is encrypted on your device, stays out of the regular archive and search, locks automatically, and can be included in a password-protected backup. Choose device authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode) or an independent 6-digit PIN or 12–128-character password. In independent mode, Face ID, Touch ID, and your device passcode cannot unlock the storage or reset a forgotten PIN/password. The backup password is separate. No account is required. TRANSLATE RECOGNIZED TEXT On iOS 18 or later, translate recognized text and switch between the original and translation. Supported languages vary; language downloads may be required. Translation does not create a translated PDF. EXPORT CLEAN AND SEARCHABLE PDFS Share clear PDFs without watermarks. Create searchable PDFs with selectable text whenever you need them.
