About Back9ops

Back9Ops 2.2 — your live score follows you to the lock screen. LOCK SCREEN • While you play a live stroke-play event, your lock screen keeps one quiet card: your place, your score, your holes played and who's leading. • On iPhone it shows on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island (iPhone with iOS 16.2 or later). • It ends on its own when the event does. To turn it off, open Notification settings and switch off "Live score on my lock screen". MATCH PLAY • Knockout brackets are on your phone. Tap "See the bracket" on the leaderboard or the event page. • Home tells you when your match is on and who's next, with "Play My Match" and "Your next match: Quarterfinals". • Your match card says the result once, in plain words. A finished match reads "Final result:". • "Pick up where you left off" in the Play menu opens your match, not a stroke scorecard. EVENTS AND SIGN-UP • Sign-up offers a club's extras with one tap. An extra that has run out says "Sold out", and you're never charged for it. • Have a discount code? Tap "Have a code?" It stays out of the way until you need it. • My registrations shows your code and extras, and you can change your extras there. • Event series: see the standings for a summer series from the event page. LEAGUES • When a team league settles a tie with a playoff, the teams get a "Playoff" tag. • Team standings in a stroke league show Gross and Net instead of 0. • Your next tee time uses the club's own day. SPEED AND FIXES • Find an event no longer freezes on a long list. • A live leaderboard in a big event no longer freezes your phone every few seconds, and no longer closes the app.
