A pioneer of Chicago house, DJ Sneak (born Carlos Sosa in Puerto Rico, raised on the warehouse parties and WBMX radio of 1980s Chicago) helped define the sound of a generation. As part of the legendary second wave of Chicago house innovators — alongside names like Derrick Carter and Green Velvet — he broke through on Cajmere's Cajual and Relief Records and became known worldwide for his raw, filtered house groove.
