About PICNIGO
PICNIGO is an app that helps you decide which products best suit your personal profile. Most Korean products are labeled only in Korean. Travelers rely on translation to figure out what an item is. However, even when they know what the product is, they are still confused about whether they should actually buy it. Olive Young, convenience stores (CU, GS25, Seven-Eleven, Emart24), and Daiso—these places offer great prices and a vast variety, but foreign travelers simply don't know what to buy. In the end, they either buy based on gut feeling or leave empty-handed. Point your camera at products on the shelf to get instant information. Instead of translating labels word-for-word, PICNIGO explains what the item is in simple, easy-to-understand terms. Can I eat this? Check for Vegetarian, Halal, and Gluten-Free statuses, along with allergen warnings required on Korean packaging. How spicy is it? 1 to 5 spice level ratings. Find out before you buy, not after taking your first bite. Price & Ingredients Displays average prices and calories so you can tell if the price is fair or an inflated tourist rate. How to eat or use it Provides recipes and usage instructions for products that lack English labeling. Tailored specifically for these three spots: Olive Young: Skincare and cosmetics. The challenge here isn't reading the label; it's choosing just one from forty similar-looking products. Convenience Stores: Snacks, ramen, drinks, instant meals, and daily essentials. Daiso: Household goods, mini cosmetics, and store-brand products that are unsearchable in English. Save & Compare Scanned products are saved to your MY SHELF and BUY LIST. Compare items you saw on Day 1 with those on Day 5 without relying on memory. Beyond Korea Supports 20 countries including Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, and Singapore. Available in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai interfaces. Start with 5 free scans. No signup required. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
