About TierBreak: Junior Tennis

TierBreak is one record of a junior tennis player's year, built from a junior's first tournament on: the tournaments, the matches, the training, the mental work, and what the coach sees. PLAN THE SEASON Find junior tournaments nationwide, free, with dates, entry deadlines, draw sizes, levels, how many have entered and the ranking points each level awards. With Advanced, save them to your season plan with deadline reminders: month by month, same-weekend events as one slot with its options, training blocks between, and a Priority flag on the events that matter most. Advanced also shows your player's status and seed on every entry list and when a list moves, and the opponents you have played who entered a tournament you saved, with your record against each. From entry lists we keep counts, never other children's names. START WITH THE SCORE Enter a finished match in about twenty seconds, or track it live, point by point. Paste a USTA results page or photograph a draw sheet, and check every match it reads before any is added. TRACK IT THE WAY IT IS PLAYED Eight scoring presets, from USTA Junior no-ad to an 8-game pro set. Singles and doubles, with the serve rotation. A point costs two taps. Undo, correct the score or fix the format mid-match. Works offline. SEE WHAT DECIDED IT Break points, first serve in play, the return matrix, a momentum chart that marks aces and double faults, and serve placement, rally length, spin and winners against errors when you track them. WIN THE DAY Log a training session in seconds. One real thing done turns the day green, the week counts against your family's days-a-week goal, and a planned rest day never breaks the streak. TRAIN THE MENTAL GAME LIKE A SKILL A short self-assessment places your athlete in one of five phases of a 28-step pathway: pre-match routine, between-point routine, changeover reset, cue words. Guided audio that works with no signal. Focus games, scored against your own best and never another child's. The Proof shows how pressure points went before the pathway and since. FOR THE PARENT AT THE FENCE What your athlete is working on, a brief for the drive home, and your own read of the match that never overwrites theirs. WORK WITH A COACH, ON YOUR TERMS A coach you accept reads the week, logs the lesson and you get the note, sets homework your athlete ticks off, and writes the plan and a parent brief. You see everything they write. Seven switches per child set what they see. PRIVACY IS THE PRODUCT A player under 13 is set up by their guardian; the AI features never run for them and their journal stays readable by the guardian. A player of 13 or over gets a private journal. No advertising. AI YOU SWITCH ON Optional and off until a parent turns it on, never under 13: the match story, the car-ride brief, journal patterns, a college brief, opponent scouting and a prep chat, with Advanced. FREE AND ADVANCED Free: every capture field, the analytics, the focus games, four guided audio sessions, six months of history, one athlete, the coach connection, the tournament list with each tournament's page, your own calendar, and CSV export. Advanced adds phases 2 to 5 of the pathway, eight more audio sessions, the AI briefs, opponent scouting and the prep chat, your record against each opponent, a second athlete, every season, the season plan and your player's status on every entry list. Advanced is a subscription in the app with a 14-day free trial; the price is shown under In-App Purchases on this page and in the app before you subscribe. SUBSCRIPTIONS TierBreak Advanced is an optional auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://tierbreak.app/privacy

What’s new

Version 2.0.0 · Updated October 12, 2026

TierBreak 2.0. Everything since 1.2.0, in one place. Tournament planning. Find junior tournaments nationwide, 10U and 8U included, with dates, entry deadlines, draw sizes, how many have entered and the ranking points each level awards, free. Add your home ZIP and the planner knows your USTA section and marks the Closed tournaments; the search can show only the dates you have free. With Advanced, save tournaments to your season plan with calendar entries and reminders, see your player's status and seed on every entry list, see which opponents you have played entered a tournament you saved with your record against each, and use opponent scouting and the prep chat, with a parent's AI consent and never under 13. Your season on one screen. The Season tab opens on your plan: the next 3 or 12 months, camps, training blocks, rest and fixed dates, leagues and exhibitions, and you against last season. A coach can propose; nothing is real until you accept. Bring in last season's USTA results from Settings, or share a results page from Safari straight to TierBreak. The same plan is on the web. Your coach writes into the record. A connected coach logs the lesson and you get the note, assigns homework your athlete ticks off on Today, reads the match they missed in points, and writes the plan and a brief for the parents. Everything they write is visible to you. Live tracking. Quick, Full and Serve focus set what you track in one tap, and Your last mix brings back your own. Points only and Games only track as little as you like. On a day inside a tournament you saved, a new match fills in its name. After a set, the scoreboard shows that set's games in its own column. A doubles match names both opponents and your partner. Spin on the serve and on the shot that ended the point, off until you switch them on. Mind. Today's Set and a 90-second starting line, six focus games with levels, the Reset Pacer, and the earlier games one tap away. A guided session saves with the screen off and, once saved, plays with no signal. Also: share your last 7 days as a post or a story; the Match tab is now Compete, with what's next at the top; type an opponent's WTN and the analytics chart every match by the gap between your numbers; every screen is named in the bar and forms close with Cancel; new Terms and a privacy policy that say more about both kinds of account.
