About cosmou • travel + friends
Know where to go, through who you know. Skip the star ratings and the strangers. Cosmou is a map of the places your friends love: the café they swear by, the bar they always end up at, the spot they'd send you to first. • Save your places and share them with your orbit • See your friends' recs on one map, at home or anywhere in the world • Know the moment someone adds somewhere new • Ask your orbit anything with a stream • Build guides for friends heading somewhere you love • Reach the people your people trust Your orbit knows best.
What’s new
Version 1.3.56 · Updated October 21, 2026
What's new: • When you come home from a trip, "back from London" now appears as the first card on your map, asking which of your saved places you loved. Arriving somewhere new shows "you're in Lisbon" the same way, with a quick way to ask your orbit for favourites. • Empty guides now show an "add places" card, so it's clear how to start filling them. Improved: • Guides without a cover photo show their constellation in the list and the grid. • Zoomed-out maps stay anchored, and you can scroll them freely instead of getting stuck or drifting upward. • Tapping a pin with several places no longer freezes the map. The list follows the pin and opens below it when there's no room above. • City names read cleanly: "London" instead of "Greater London". • The create-guide sheet puts the cover color under the cover photo. • Removed the "N not shown" note from the orbit map. Fixed: • An error when leaving edit mode on a guide with no places.
