Reef Coach – Reef Tank AI

Reef Coach is the serious app for serious reefers. Track water chemistry, coral health, dosing schedules, and equipment maintenance — with on-device AI that actually understands your tank. Healthier corals. Cleaner data. Calmer hobby. PARAMETER DASHBOARD Log alk, calcium, magnesium, phosphate, nitrate, salinity, pH, and temperature in under 90 seconds. Every parameter shows as a trend ribbon against its target range. Out-of-range values surface immediately. Rate-of-change detection flags parameters drifting before they become problems. CORAL HEALTH AI (Reefer tier) Photograph any coral. On-device Apple Intelligence compares color, polyp extension, and tissue condition against previous snapshots of the same specimen. Spot RTN risk, bleaching onset, or growth acceleration — all from your phone, all private. The audience is geeky and proud; so is the analysis. ICP INTEGRATION (Reefer tier) Photograph or import ICP test reports from Triton, ATI, or Oceamo. Vision OCR reads the report and AI extracts 30+ trace element values into structured, trackable data. DOSING SCHEDULER Configure 2-part, all-for-reef, kalkwasser, or custom dosing. Track adherence. When alk consumption rises as your SPS mass grows, Reef Coach notices and recommends an adjustment before your dKH dips. LIVESTOCK INVENTORY Track every coral and fish: acquisition date, source, tank location, and photo timeline. The coral detail screen is a horizontal photo gallery — visual evidence of growth or stress over months. EQUIPMENT & MAINTENANCE Log pumps, skimmers, lights, and ATO. Smart reminders ping you when maintenance is overdue before it affects your parameters. WEEKLY SUMMARY AI writes a weekly tank health summary — parameters, livestock, dosing adherence, and any emerging concerns. NEW IN THIS UPDATE • On-device AI (Apple Intelligence) now powers coral health, dosing guidance, and weekly summaries — private, fast, no cloud. • NEW iCloud sync — log at the iPad on the fish-room test bench, see it instantly on your iPhone in the living room. • NEW Home Screen & Lock Screen widgets — today's parameters and in-range status at a glance. • NEW dosing & water-change Live Activities. • NEW Apple Watch companion — quick-log a parameter at the tank, no phone needed. • NEW shareable coral timelines & PDF tank reports — perfect for Reef2Reef and r/ReefTank before/after posts. • NEW smart reminders for testing and maintenance. BUILT FOR DARK FISH ROOMS Dark mode is default, always. Looks like an Apex controller. Feels like a scientific instrument. GAME CENTER Compete on leaderboards and earn achievements: longest parameter streak in range, most diverse inventory, fastest consistent logging. FREE TIER 1 tank, all 8 parameters, basic trends, 30 days history, Home Screen widget, and test reminders. No paywall just to look around. REEFER TIER ($14.99/mo or $129/yr) Up to 3 tanks, AI coral analysis, ICP integration, dosing recommendations, widgets, export, Apple Watch, and unlimited history. Pays for itself the first time it prevents a coral RTN event. AQUARIST TIER ($29.99/mo) The Pro tier. Unlimited tanks, advanced correlation analytics, CSV bulk export, and priority feature requests — for the truly serious or small commercial operation. Coral health and dosing guidance are informational hobbyist aids, not guarantees — reef tanks are chaotic systems. Reef Coach informs your decisions; it doesn't make them for you. Privacy: no ads, no third-party analytics, no PII sold. Ever. Your data stays on your device and in your own iCloud.
