DarkSpeed: Bike Speedometer

DarkSpeed is a GPS bike speedometer (and more) built for one thing: so you can read your speed at a glance from your handlebar mount. No maps, no account, no clutter. Hop on your bike and the app starts measuring on its own. In short: one big number, full screen, OLED friendly and zero distractions! SMART AUTO-START & AUTO-PAUSE Forget pressing "start" with gloves on. DarkSpeed uses a two-layer motion filter (GPS + accelerometer) that eliminates false triggers: • Auto-start once you pass the speed threshold • Auto-pause after 10 seconds of standing still • No accidental starts when a bus drives past ACCURATE GPS SPEED MEASUREMENT • A Kalman filter smooths the reading, so speed won't jump around like on basic GPS apps • GPS + accelerometer fusion: two independent layers confirming motion • mph offset calibration: match the reading to your car's speedometer • mph or km/h units BLE SENSORS: CADENCE & WHEEL SPEED • If you like, pair a Bluetooth speed & cadence sensor (CSC standard) • Speed measured from wheel revolutions: ultra-accurate and independent of GPS signal quality (forest, tunnel, dense city) • Live cadence straight from the crank • Adjustable wheel circumference LIVE STATS & RIDE HISTORY • Current, max and average speed, distance, ride time • Full ride history saved locally on your phone • Per-ride stats: distance, time, max and average speed, date • Persistent lock-screen notification: average · distance · time, without unlocking your phone DESIGNED FOR OLED SCREENS • Black background = real battery savings on OLED screens • Burn-in protection (subtle pixel shift) • Ride mode with screen dimming • Screen stays on while riding (wake lock) PRO The Pro module gives you complete control over your cycling fitness with clear progress charts, a colorful activity calendar and cadence alerts that help you maintain the ideal rhythm. Keep your momentum going and protect your bike by tracking personal records, monitoring riding streaks and receiving maintenance reminders based on your accumulated mileage. You also gain access to exclusive ride screen themes, secure file export and restore for your entire route history, and all future updates included at no extra cost. PRIVACY WITHOUT COMPROMISE • No account, no sign-up, no cloud • Your routes and stats never leave your device • We never sell your data SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE 50 European languages, English included of course. The app automatically matches your phone's language. WHO IS IT FOR?
