RideGY: Ride or Drive

RideGY gets you where you're going, anywhere in Guyana. Open the app, say where to (or tap a place on the map), see your price before you book, and a driver near you is asked straight away. If the first driver hasn't answered in 15 seconds, the next nearest driver is asked too, and you can see who is being asked and how far away they are. When a driver accepts, you see who is coming, the car, and a PIN to check before you get in. GET A RIDE • Choose your car and see the price before you book. • Places on the map: shops, restaurants, pharmacies, banks, fuel and hotels. Tap one and ride there. • Pay with cash, card, Apple Pay or PayPal, or use your RideGY balance. Add funds right in the app. • Watch your driver come to you on the map, and check the PIN before the trip starts. • Add a stop or re-route during your trip. YOUR FAVOURITE DRIVERS See which of your favourite drivers are free and ask one first, for a ride now or a scheduled one. CALL WITHOUT CALLING CREDIT Call your driver, or your rider, right inside the app over Wi-Fi or mobile data. No calling credit and no international call charges, so it works for visitors without a Guyana phone number too. You can also talk to RideGY support by voice or video, inside the app. BOOK AHEAD, OR FOR SOMEONE ELSE • Schedule a ride for later. • Book for someone else: send them a link, and they request the ride from it. • Hire a driver by the hour or for the day. SEND A PACKAGE RideGY Send takes a package across town with a RideGY driver. The person receiving it follows it with a link. SAFER TRIPS If a trip stops making progress, RideGY checks in with you and our team can see it. FOR DRIVERS • Ride offers show the fare, the pickup and the cash to collect up front, with the cash again just before the drop-off. • Your favourite riders come to you first: when they book, you're asked before any other driver. • Fairer matching: when two drivers are asked, the first to accept drives, and missing one never counts against you. • A Rides waiting drawer for rides nobody has taken yet, with your scheduled pickups and a one-tap "I'm on my way". • Package deliveries: offers tell you it's a package, and you choose whether you take packages and extra-large ones. • Call your rider right in the app. • The drivers' room: chat with other drivers who are online. • See your earnings by day, week and month.
