OFFUNIT

OFFUNIT is where nurses connect, along with the medics, firefighters, doctors, techs and dispatchers who work the same hours. Date, make friends, or build a career network. One profile, three modes, and you decide which ones are on. You already know why this exists. Regular dating apps ask what you do for fun on weekends. You work weekends. They match you with someone who wants a 7pm dinner on a Tuesday you're scheduled through. OFFUNIT starts from the assumption that your schedule is the normal one: nights, 12s, 24s and all. WHO'S HERE Nurses (RN, LPN, CNA, NP, CRNA and students), healthcare workers (physicians, residents, PAs, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, rad techs, lab techs and surgical techs) and first responders (EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, police officers and 911 dispatchers). Add your specialty or unit so people know where you work. YOU CHOOSE WHO YOU SEE Want to meet only nurses? Only first responders? Everyone? Set it in your deck filters. It's free and it works both ways. First responders can show as "First Responder" and keep their exact job private. THREE MODES, ONE PROFILE Turn on Dating, Friends, Networking, or all three. Your profile adapts to each one. A partner, a friend who also gets off at 7:30am, and someone who can tell you what their unit or station is really like are three different asks, and they shouldn't need three different apps. THE OFFFEED A community feed for people who work shifts. Post the thing only a coworker would find funny. Comment, react, and find people through what they say instead of just how they photograph. Your most-liked posts show on your profile, so people meet your sense of humor before they swipe. Posts you share anonymously never do. VERIFY YOUR NURSING LICENSE, FREE Nurses can submit their license for a verified badge. A person reviews it, it stays free, and your license details are never shown to other members. SPARKS When someone is worth more than a swipe, send a Spark, from their profile or straight from a post that made you laugh. It puts you at the front of their deck and tells them which mode you meant it in. CHATS THAT GET GOING Wave in one tap, send stickers made for shift life, or start a game: This or That, Red flag or green flag, Hot takes, Would you rather. Keep talking and your streak grows. NURSE TRIVIA, HEAD TO HEAD Play a round, then challenge a match to the same ten questions and find out who actually still remembers. A thousand questions across ten subjects, each ending with the why behind the answer. It's a "do you remember this?" between friends, not a study tool. BADGES Earn badges for milestones, specialties and shift-life survival. The ones you grind for come in bronze, silver and gold. Feature your favorite four at the top of your profile. CLOSE TO HOME Your deck is sorted by distance, so you meet people who work near you, often at the hospital or station down the road. Other members see your city, never your exact location. WHAT'S FREE Profile creation, matching, messaging, choosing who you see, the OffFeed, games and RN verification are all free, and they are staying free. OPTIONAL EXTRAS OFFUNIT+ unlocks seeing everyone who paged you, 25 Sparks a month, advanced filters, Private Mode and Rewind. Spark and Boost packs are one-time purchases. None of it is required to meet people here. WHO IT'S FOR Nurses, healthcare workers and first responders, 18 and older, in the United States. Sharing patient information (PHI) is prohibited.
