About Thrive: Budget & Money Manager

Everything a budgeting app should do. None of what they usually take. No bank logins · No servers · Nothing collected Most budgeting apps start by asking for your bank username and password, then pass them to a data company you never chose. Thrive does neither. There is no bank connection to make, no aggregator in the middle, and no credential of yours anywhere in the app. Your money stays on your device. If you use a Mac and an iPhone, it syncs through your own iCloud account — yours, not ours. There is no Thrive account to create, no Thrive server holding your budget, and nothing for us to lose, sell, or be asked to hand over. Your device is the database. Your spending history is the most revealing document you own. It shows where you go, who you pay, what you are treating, and what you are carrying. Thrive is built for people who would rather keep it. Be faithful with what you've been given. Zero-based budgeting, built on a simple conviction: the money isn't ultimately ours to hoard — it's ours to steward well. Give every dollar a job, know exactly where you stand, and plan for the people and purposes that matter most. So how does it see your spending? Two ways, neither of them typing. Download your transaction history from your bank — the same export you can already do from your account — and open it in Thrive. Every line is parsed and sorted into a budget category on your own device, showing you where the month actually went. Seconds, not an evening of data entry. The file is read where it sits and never leaves; there is no Thrive server to send it to. Or let Thrive read the transaction alerts your bank already emails you, so spending stays current between statements without you doing anything at all. FREE — everything you need to run the month • Zero-based budgeting: income minus every job equals zero. • Statement import (CSV, OFX/QFX, PDF) and email alert scanning, both categorized on arrival. • Group by parent category, set sinking funds for irregular bills, and match your plan to reality in a tap. • Emergency fund tracking with a target and a fund-the-gap plan. • Debt payoff with a clear, dated burndown. • Giving goals with a target and a deadline, tracked and built into your budget. There is no trial clock on any of that. It does not expire. PREMIUM — planning further out • Retirement projections from your real holdings. • Children's savings for every account type, with growth projections. • Real estate, mortgage, and equity tracking. • Big purchases, planned and funded before you buy. • A year-in-review that answers the questions that matter. • Household sharing — invite your spouse from their own Apple ID and you both see the same plan. Two Apple IDs, no shared password, no per-seat fee. Private by design Our App Privacy label reads "Data Not Collected," because there is nothing to collect. No ads, no analytics, no data brokers, no profile of you anywhere. Your budget is shared only with the household member you choose, and only through Apple's own sharing. Thrive is for informational and educational purposes and is not personalized financial, investment, or tax advice. Have a question? Email us — a real person, usually back within a day. Thrive Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at purchase confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. What’s new

Version 2026.10.3 · Updated October 17, 2026

Zero-based budgeting that never asks for a bank login. Same mission — this one is about localization and better categorization. • New: keep your data on this device only. Switch iCloud sync off in Settings and Thrive stops talking to your other devices entirely — nothing is uploaded, nothing is shared, and nothing is lost. Turn it back on whenever you want. • Bank alert emails are no longer kept. Thrive used to hold on to a copy of the alert so you could check its work against what the bank actually said. Now that copy is discarded the moment you confirm the transaction. Tips you recorded by hand are untouched. Categorizing transactions • The category list is shorter. Tap a category and you now pick the group first — Food, Housing, Transportation — then the category inside it, instead of scrolling one long list of everything. • Changing a category is one tap, and it only changes that transaction. If the vendor has other charges, Thrive then asks once whether to file those the same way. Say “Just this one” and nothing else moves. • Making a rule no longer means selecting the row, opening a sheet, flipping a switch and confirming a match pattern. That sheet is still there under “More options” when you want to edit the pattern by hand. Fixed • A sinking-fund bill is no longer called an overspend. • The “Recommendations” heading on the budget no longer breaks across two lines as “Recommenda-tions” on iPhone.
