Elite Tempo

Copy the greats. Copy your best. Every great swing has a tempo. Elite Tempo hand-times real tournament swings from golf's greats, frame by frame to the hundredth of a second, into the two numbers no other app captures: the exact duration from takeaway to impact, and the backswing-to-downswing tempo ratio. Then you play it back, in your ear, until it is yours. 16 TOUR SWINGS, HAND-TIMED Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Fred Couples, Adam Scott and more, each timed frame by frame from tournament footage. Not a generic metronome set to a number someone guessed. YOUR OWN SWING, TIMED IN ABOUT 20 SECONDS Film a swing or pick one from your camera roll. Mark takeaway, top and impact with three taps. Elite Tempo times the rest, to the hundredth of a second. FOUR NUMBERS FOR EVERY SWING Total time from takeaway to impact. Backswing and downswing, separately. And the ratio between them, the one number nearly every great swing shares. TRAIN WITH YOUR EARS 12 beat sounds and 8 recorded voices count your swing out loud, all tuned to the key of the background music so they sit with it. Headphones in, phone in your bag, eyes on the ball. SEE THE GAP, SIDE BY SIDE Two swings looping in lockstep. Yours against a pro, or your best against your worst. The difference is impossible to miss. BEAT THE 40-SECOND CLOCK, FREE FOREVER The USGA pace of play timer gives you 40 seconds from start to impact. It stays free, with no subscription, for as long as you have the app. DRILL YOUR PRE-SHOT ROUTINE Time the routine you want to trust, then run it against a live timer with audible marks, so it holds up when it counts. OFF-SPEED CONTROL Practice reduced-speed shots at a 3:1 tempo, for technique and spin control, so you have a swing to fall back on when the full one is not working.
