Montessori Roots: Checklist

Montessori Roots: Checklist is a calm companion for the first three years. A simple checklist of real Montessori activities, organized into 11 developmental stages from pregnancy through age 3. Each stage offers several things to try at home with your child, based on years of Montessori research, observation, and authentic teacher training. WHO IT'S FOR First-time and early-stage parents who have heard of Montessori but aren't trained. Anyone overwhelmed by parenting content who wants concrete, low-anxiety guidance on what to actually do this month. WHAT'S INSIDE - 11 stages from pregnancy through age 3 - 87 curated activities, materials, and home setups - Hero illustrations for every stage - A "Welcome your baby" moment to mark birth - Stage completion celebrations - Optional notifications when your child enters a new stage - Always free. No ads. No subscriptions. No in-app purchases. WHY THIS APP EXISTS Authentic Montessori guidance for infants and toddlers is genuinely hard to find publicly. Most resources for the 0–3 age range live in trained guides' handwritten manuals and credential program materials, not on the open web. This app draws from both AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) and AMS (American Montessori Society) Montessori standards, plus material from credential program training- curated for what's actually doable at home, chosen for ease of setup and developmentally meaningful. PRIVACY FIRST Everything stays on your device. No accounts. No analytics. No tracking. No third-party services. If you delete the app, all data is gone. BUILT BY A MONTESSORI TEACHER Created by Amanda Koos Freitas - designer, AMS Infant-Toddler credentialed, and Montessori field consultant. Less is more. Observe your child. Set up the room for them. Trust the long arc. DISCLAIMER Montessori Roots: Checklist provides educational information about child development and Montessori activities. It is not a substitute for professional medical, developmental, or pediatric advice. Always consult your pediatrician or a qualified healthcare provider for questions about your child's health, development, or any concerns you may have.
