NumBan hits the callback number a scam voicemail asks you to dial. Caller ID is easy to spoof. The number that the scammers need you to call back is not. Share the voicemail or a screenshot of one from the iPhone Phone app. NumBan extracts that spoken number, prepares a verified abuse report, and routes it through a NumBan-managed alias. Your personal contact info is never included. After enough independent reports, the complaint is sent to the carrier or RespOrg that hosts the number. NumBan re-checks periodically. When the number reports that it has been disconnected, that is a kill. Kills rank you on the leaderboard.
