Recovery Career Compass

Recovery Career Compass helps US adults recovering from alcohol or drug addiction think through the work part of life. Returning to a job, exploring a different direction, or considering training? Start with the question in front of you, at any duration of recovery. Built by Mike Thibideau, a person in long-term recovery and the author of Brick by Brick: Building a Working Life in Recovery. START FREE AFTER SIGN-IN Readiness Assessment: reflect on practical, skills, mindset, and market readiness. A snapshot, not a clinical assessment or an employment decision. Skills Explorer: identify transferable skills and directions to investigate. THE FULL COMPASS Paid access adds guided tools for career planning, a personal mission, goal setting, career storytelling, interview preparation, disclosure conversations, job search, the first ninety days at work, workplace challenges, and weekly planning. Save the artifacts you create and return to your work. THE BOOK AND COMPASS The book and paid Compass access are separate purchases. You can use the free starter tools without buying the book. Eligible book readers can receive a first-year discount on the separate web subscription; eligibility and terms apply. YOUR WORDS, YOUR CHOICE Your responses are personal. You choose what to share in a conversation with someone you trust. Read the privacy policy for how your account information and responses are handled. CAREER PLANNING, WITH A CLEAR SCOPE Compass does not provide treatment, therapy, clinical assessment, medical or legal advice, job placement, or a guarantee of employment. It does not replace qualified professional care or advice. Take one work question. Make one next move. Brick by brick.
