About eSmart Bin

Scanning now uses smart AI technology, smoothly works on any iPhone or iPad! Not sure which bin? Point, scan, done. eSmart Bin tells you exactly where an item belongs in recycle, compost, e-waste, hazardous, special or general waste in seconds. Snap a photo, or simply type what you're holding, and the app names the item, picks the right bin and tells you how to prepare it: rinse it, flatten it, remove the cap, keep it apart. WHY PEOPLE LOVE IT • One photo, one answer. No scrolling through rule charts. • Works on the go. It works in the kitchen, at the office, on the train — anywhere. • Made for sustainable planet. Clear guidance on wet, dry, hazardous and e-waste segregation, written in plain language. • Multi-Language Support for up to 41 languages, Waste Pick-up Day Reminder Scheduling & more! SCAN YOUR WAY • Capture: Take a photo of the item, get the bin, the reason and disposal tips. • Describe: Don't want to take photo? Type "greasy pizza box" or "old phone charger" and get the same answer. • Guide: A "What Goes Where?" reference you can browse any time. • Fix result: If the AI gets it wrong, tell us in two taps. Every correction helps make it better. SEE YOUR IMPACT • Every correctly sorted item is counted, with an estimated CO₂ saving, on your profile. • Build a streak: plus bonus scans from streaks and sharing. FREE AND FAIR • eSmart Bin is free. A few ads keep it that way — there are no in-app purchases. • Plus bonus scans from streaks, sharing and Ad. GOOD TO KNOW • For users 18 and older. • Needs an internet connection. Your photo or description is sent securely to third-party AI service providers to identify the item. WHY WE BUILT THIS Every item sorted right is one less thing in a landfill, one less thing a sanitation worker has to pull out by hand, one more step toward the streets we want our children to walk on. Sorting waste shouldn't need a rule book — it should take a second. That's eSmart Bin. Small habit. Big difference. Let's make our planet sustainable!
