Pixfin: Fish Pet Step Tracker

About Pixfin: Fish Pet Step Tracker

Pixfin 3.0 gives you a step goal for every day, and a new Progress tab to follow your walking plan. A GOAL FOR TODAY • Under the steps bar, Pixfin now sets you a step goal from your own week, with the minutes of walking left today and the day your creature reaches its next stage if you keep it up. • On the widget, the Lock Screen and your Apple Watch, the ring now shows today's walk and closes when you meet the day's goal. • Walk reminders replace water reminders. Each one invites you on a walk with your creature and says today's goal, and none comes on a day you've already met it. The reminder times you had set carry over. YOUR PROGRESS The new Progress tab takes over from the Stats screen: goals met, how your steps are changing, and your creature at every stage it has reached. STEPS ARE ALL IT TAKES Water logging is gone. Your creature now grows from your steps alone, which Pixfin reads from Apple Health, so there is nothing to log by hand. PIXFIN PREMIUM Pixfin now needs a Premium subscription. If you're raising a creature, you keep everything until that tank is finished, and a lifetime purchase stays yours. Every color variety is now included at no extra cost. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Come back to the app after a walk and it reads your steps straight away, then fills in the steps bar, stopping at each new stage while your creature grows. • The Home Screen widget and Pixfin on your Apple Watch now show your tank's own water, with its colors, light and drifting particles. • Settings now opens on your own tank as the widget shows it. Tap it to see, in pictures, how to add the widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen. • The goldfish, betta and guppy are redrawn at every stage and in every color, and many more creatures have new drawings too. • If Pixfin can't read your steps, a guide now shows you, screen by screen, where to turn them on in iOS Settings. • Pixfin now speaks British, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand English, and Canadian French, each with its own spelling and usage. • When you send feedback, the email now opens on your own words, with your app version and device details attached as a file. FIXES • Goldfish, bettas and guppies used to rest higher in the tank than other creatures. They now sit in the middle of the water.
